I came here years ago when I visited a friend in Somerville. On my most recent trip to New Hampshire, I flew into Boston and had a little bit of extra time, so I looked this place up, I took a quick detour, and I was knocked over by just how tasty it is. I had the Pão Francês com Linguica, Ovo e Queijo. It's just a little breakfast sandwich that doesn't even cost $4. And it doesn't look like much. But it tastes like a whole lot. Tangy cheese. Que deliciosa! That's the extent of my Portuguese, sorry. I'm giving this top ratings partially because I don't know of another place like it in the area. The concept of pay-per-pound food jives so well with American culture, I have no idea why this isn't everywhere. Maybe because to make it work you have to actually put out fresh stuff, which jives less. This coffee place seems like a regular for the local. I went here for early breakfast and since everyone said they have the best sandwich in the area. I ordered steak sandwich, and steak omelette. The seasoning is not consistency at all. The sandwich is too salty while the omelette is too bland.
