Uncover Natick's Mexican dining scene with Restaurantji's insights.
“Don't be fooled by the exterior and location, this place was wonderful. The staff were super friendly and I was very pleasantly surprised to be served high-quality chips and salsa, for free, in addition to my meal at the table. I was not expecting table service. There was something delicious advertised at the cash register, which I've unfortunately forgotten the name of. It was open faced, like a tostada, but in more of a doughy, pastry shell. I was so glad I ordered it to go. You should be sure to try it too! The tostones were perfectly salted. As a Gringa, my meal had the perfect amount of heat. I tasted all of the cilantro and fresh flavors but without tears or a single drink with my meal. I'll be back!“
“Took my daughter out here for a daddy - daughter date. After a long day with my 2 yr old son it was much needed. They made my margarita nice and strong. But strong enough to take the edge off from a long day. Otherwise food was great and everyone was very welcoming. I throughly enjoy any Mexican food. I specifically enjoy their chips and salsa they make.“
“Oh my goodness, it was better than several other locations I've been to. Normally "mall" locations don't seem to take as much care as a stand-alone, (lines, not enough help, young workers who are in experienced). But this location is well staffed, or at least they fake it we'll, there are lines, but they keep us moving, ended up getting 2 orders, one eat in, and one to go (just because they were THAT good). Both orders were hot, to my liking, and filled properly - not just (thrown together) like a taco with a little meat a few maters and stuff. They actually FILLED my crunchwrap and crunchy taco. I will DEFINITELY be returning sooner than later and will spread the word to my Dave and Buster friends.. lol. Eat THEN play.. ?Vegetarian options: You can ask them to make almost anything vegetarian.. just say "no meat, please".Parking: There are several large lots to park that include access to mall entrances.Wheelchair accessibility: It's in the food court which is wheelchair accessible from certain locations entering the mall.“
“I am a former employee at this location, and I have been frequenting it recently since the change in management. I have to say, I believe it has gone uphill in quality, tremendously. I’m going to leave the most honest and in-depth review I possibly can.FOOD - The “grill guy” matters tremendously at Chipotle. They more or less determine how good everything on the “hot” side of the line will be. The last few times, I have seen my former coworker Luis cooking the food. I have to commend him and whoever else has been cooking the food for my last few visits. The Rice - perfect consistency and texture, perfect balance of salt, cilantro, and lime. The Beans - Luis, or whoever has been cooking the food, absolutely NAILS the beans. The pinto beans are the absolute perfect texture every time I’ve visited recently. Believe it or not, the BEANS have been the highlight of my bowl every time, just because they are cooked to the right consistency every time - not too watery, not undercooked. The Meat - I order extra chicken every time, because it is so good at this location. It’s perfectly seasoned, and perfectly grilled - JUST enough that it has that salty, spicy, charred edge, without being over the top.I personally don’t care for Queso, or Fajita veggies, but I would bet that they are excellent as well.SERVICE - The service at this location has really gone uphill, in my opinion. Kai seems like an excellent manager. They served me multiple times, and have been very polite every time, with a smile on their face. They seem to treat their employees and customers with decency and respect. The woman working the line tonight (Monday 9/13) provided excellent service. She was quick and very kind.Another thing - although Chipotle has become expensive, in my opinion, this location serves very fair portions. Obviously, they can’t make your bowl overflow, but I feel that this location does a good job of providing a satisfactory amount of food. All around, solid service and friendly employees. They make you feel welcome and serve up delicious food.ATMOSPHERE - This is an honest review, so the ONLY thing I can knock this location on is the Atmosphere. The tables are often dirty, and it’s a bit of a recurring issue. And, when I came for dinner tonight, I entered the men’s room to wash my hands, only to find a broken faucet. I’m not sure if they’d noticed the broken faucet, but there are well-stocked hand sanitizer dispensers in the restaurant that provided an alternative. Plus, it’s not like the employees were sitting around on their phones; everyone was working the entire time I sat and ate my bowl. They were trying their best, and I noticed. In conclusion, if you want to go to a location that embodies “Chipotle Mexican Grill”, not “high schoolers serving chicken and rice that tastes like water” come to this one. You won’t be disappointed with the food or the service.“
“Yes , this is the right place. A delicious hole in the wall Mexican shop hiding between service stations and commercial buildings. A hidden Waltham gem .. I almost wish it hadn't gotten noticed because the patron traffic is obviously higher now :)“
“Finally finally a good burrito place! And a handheld burritos is what I’m talking about here. We called in an order, it was ready in less than ten minutes. Super nice staff. The burrito was huge and just really tasty. Sauce, salsa, tasty moist chicken and soft rice - I’m really happy with this. To quite my other half “this is freaking delicious.” We will definitely be back.“
“I first tried Mazatlan Mexican Grill & Bar because it was conveniently located and I figured I would give it a shot. Now, I am there all the time. The employees are all kind and personable and make the experience great time and time , again. The food is always hot & delicious. Food portions are generous , I almost always have leftovers. I can't say enough good things about their drinks , they are so well made. I suggest the Grand Margarita or the Pína Colata (so good ! ). The atmosphere is always inviting, full of laughter and people socializing. This restaurant is a win, and I find myself here often with friends and family .Parking: There is a decent lot of parking spacesKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly environment. There is a bar but there is also a separate side to the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Entry/ exit way is wheelchair accessible.“
“The food was good! I really enjoyed the tongue tacos. Absolutely delicious. My reason for 4 stars and not 5 is although the food was good, my girlfriend and I found one of the woman in the back to be rude. She had us feeling like we were an inconvenience to be there. Id give this place another shot because the food is good. Everyone has their bad days so hopefully when I return the woman behind the grill is having a better day.“
“Not from the area, but we went to a coffee roasting event and the owner recommended checking out Moody St. My friends and I first saw Amuleto when driving too Moody St. We all like Mexican, so agreed to try it. This place did not disappoint. They seemed short-staffed at that moment, but they waiter managed just fine. Great food and drink selection and my friends are vegetarians and had no issues choosing their lunch or apps. Overall, the place is really nice inside and the food was great!I'm down in the New Bedford area and we have our fair share of great restaurants, but I would come back here again, with more friends.“
“Really good tasting food and overflowing burritos. They have a lot of vegetarian (and vegan) options. Got the paneer tikka burrito, and it was really good. The chicken taco dorados (taquitos) are made to order and tasty. Service was great too. Will definitely be back to try more stuff. And it's nice to have a local alternative for burritos and burrito bowls.“
