“The secret is finally out. Best pizza west of Santarpios. The Greek chicken wrap is criminal and desserts outstanding. The owneris a true gentleman, and the Highlands are nowi the place to go for foodies. Wonderful to see the place thrivingParking: Side streets not metered“
“I have not been to Fiorella's for several years, but in the past we used to go every weekend after the theater. Food is excellent and the staff friendly. It is best to have a reservation because it gets very crowded. I highly recommend it. It does not disappoint. I give this Restaurant a five-star rating! I wish it were closer to home.“
“You may be able to get yummy pizza in many places in Newton, but does you local joint regularly give back to the community? Stone L'Oven generously donates pizzas and salads weekly to the Newton Community Freedge. Their kindness and generosity is so appreciated by the many who receive their needed food.“
“LOVED this spot! I tried the double pepperoni cupcake (10/10), the shrimp Mac n cheese cupcake (10/10), and the cheesecake cupcake (a bit try-- wouldn't recommend). Overall, these cupcakes were AMAZING and I will definitely be back to try more! Such a fun concept and they're small enough that you can try a few flavors, which is great. I also got a salad wrap which was delicious. This place is very reasonably priced, staff was friendly, and the concept was very cool.“
“A very good pizza restaurant that opened in 1925 and will be 100 years old next year!Frank Pepe retains the Italian tradition of baking pizza over charcoal, which has remained unchanged for nearly a hundred years. The baked pizza is charred, spicy, fragrant and chewy!Frank Pepe’s exclusive secret tomato sauce is even more special, and it is said that many people will come here for a special trip!“
“The definition of a hidden gym. He does a lot of catering so check the instagram for weekly hours. Heard about this from a coworker and we ordered almost every pizza on the menu to try. The service was amazing and the food was even better. Every pizza on the menu tastes amazing. Strongly recommend all pizza lovers to try it out.“
“I drive all the way to Newton from the North Shore to get this pizza! It’s a slice of heaven! The staff are very friendly and genuinely good people. Nick is the owner-so nice to chat with and Ashley is one of the workers who makes me feel like I am the Top costumer! The absolute BEST!10 out of 10“
“When I'm in the Newton area for work, I love to frequent this little pizza place. It's literally the tiniest restaurant I've ever eaten in but the food is excellent. They have an assortment of specialty pizza with fancy names and the staff is always so nice. If it's a busy night you may have to wait to be seated but carry out is also an option. If you get to eat in don't worry about how small the space is. Somehow they make it work and everyone feels like family.“
“I'm embarrassed to say I have driven by hundreds of times and never stopped in, but I finally came to my senses an hour ago and stopped when I saw the neon "hot slices" sign in the window. I got one slice of cheese and one chicken/broccoli, they were delicious and exactly what I needed. They have a small display of Peggy Lawton cookies and brownies in front of the register, I love the old-school choices! Next time I will try a sub, or maybe a sub and bring a whole pizza home!“
“Best chicken cutlet sub around. Always get it toasted. Best part about this place- no fried food, none! Great value for a family. Pizza is Greek-style and on point, salads are generous proportions. Best neighborhood spot, awesome service!“
“Yassir and his crew are the best! The food is quick, fresh and tasty (and reasonably priced as well). The portions are most generous. The calzones are really good and easily 2 meals. Many choices. Of course the pizza is great too, not too oily. I go here all the time and have never disappointed. You should too.“
“Oak Hill Pizza was recommended by the front desk staff at the Residence Inn in Needham, Ma, and they were right on the money. We placed a fairly large order, four pies and sides, for an impromptu 2nd birthday party for our grandson. All of the food arrived at the time requested, piping hot, and absolutely delicious. The person who took our order over the phone was courteous and helpful. I should add that we're from Michigan, land of the one inch crust, where pizzas are often judged by how much they weigh. It was a delight to encounter an East Coast pizza with a thin, crispy crust, with the emphasis on quality toppings and great flavor, instead of enormous quantity. When we return to Boston, we'll be sure to order our pies from Oak Hill!“
“BrickFire Pizza Co. ROCKS!!! I called from Nashville and ordered a surprise pizza delivery for my sister's birthday ( y'all went above and beyond...) The staff was AWESOME on the phone and upon delivery! So friendly and helpful. And the food was perfect! Not only were the pizza and wings delicious, but delivered hot and on time! They even wrote her a Birthday note on the inside of the box top! I highly recommend all my Boston friends (or if you are visiting the area) try out BrickFire Pizza Co.!!!!“
“It is too sad to see a place like this with low star. If you have an nostalgic pizza place you've ever been to this is it. The pizza is a treat yet very nostalgic and homemade. The crust immaculate the cheese, immaculate the service immaculate, the seats, immaculate. Why go to another pizza place when you could come here. Jesus knows I'm religious man but I put it on God. This is some of the best pizza I've ever had.“
“I order from here regularly. For me, this is the best pizza I've had in Newton. The dough is deliciously chewy, the sauce is perfect, the toppings are always fresh, and it even reheats well if we have leftovers. Our favorites are the plain cheese and the Aegean pizza (grilled chicken, red onions, spinach, and parmesan). Since the pandemic, this shop has been short staffed. The owner and staff are super nice, and I think customers need to be more understanding about the toll the pandemic took on small businesses. They still produce great food... Everyone has a off day. We'll continue to buy our favorite pizza here! The subs are delicious too!“
“Very friendly, pizza tastes amazing, I been there many times and they have only messed up my order twice and immediately made a new pizza for free but let me keep the previous one, makes pickup and delivery orders very quickly. if you have the dominos app you can get free pizza pretty often if you order frequently“
“My absolute favorite Italian restaurant around Boston. I am writing this review after moving away because I miss it so much!Their marinara is to die for. I love their arancini served with marinara. They have a really nice pizza and pasta selection too.Their tiramisu is a bit dry for my taste though.“
“Very very good sauce and it was thin crust, big slices. The crust, however, needs to be a little bit thicker to support any toppings on the slice. Would still recommend because it's so tasty. The service was very nice and quick and I could tell it was a nice environment for anyone. There was a few tables set up but nothing for a big party.“
“i just left here with surprised at how good Bertucci’s food and drinks were! lived in boston area my whole life and never checked it out untill today. me and my fiancé definitely will be here again service was great !! my server was good!!“
“Sweet tomato is the best pizza in Mass, and I will die on this hill. Their large pizzas are HUGE. I've never had pizza so good. Get chicken on the pesto pizza. Thank me later. You can't miss here. Anything you get is delish, and I'm sure prepared with fresh ingredients cause ugh! The service is amazing, they deliver and if you're too far they have grubhub and uber eats.“
“Jinny’s has been our favorite pizza since they opened. Everything is amazing from the pizzas to the appetizers and the service is 10/10. The pepperoni pizza and caesar salad are a must! The ‘mike’s hot honey’ is great added on to the pizza. Don’t forget to add a buttermilk ranch dippin’ sauce for the crust. We do both dine in and take out. Seating is pretty limited so plan ahead. No reservations. Worth the wait! They move quick too.“
