Ate late breakfast there today, February 28. I am celiac so was grateful there are GF options on the menu. I was going to order the huevos rancheros but our server, Connor, checked with the kitchen and they could not guarantee that the corn tortillas were gluten free. I am very grateful to our server that he took the time to make sure I would not be exposed to gluten. I ordered the eggs in purgatory instead and it was delicious. No homemade jam?? After all these years what a disappointment...it's one of the reasons us locals have been coming for years. Just buy some at river valley and charge for it. Place is a Hamp institution. Don't wreck it lol.

I've been going to Jake's for over 25 years. On my last visit home, I was so relieved to find out it was still open. I hope it never closes. Great food with a ton of options. Best pancakes in the world. Just a fantastic classic diner with a little extra class.
