“Cheever Tavern is terrific, strong attention to detail and execution with each dish along with quality sourcing. Easily one of the very best options in South Shore.”
“Best Hollandaise sauce…creamy light hint of lemon! If you are a Beni person they have 5 to choose from. I tried the twisted Benedict…it’s a winner! Carmen’s is A must try!#”
“Was at the Country Ski Show and on my way out I stopped at the food truck. 1st customer. Ordered the 'Happy Thanks-chicken' .. it is.. OUT OF THIS WORLD! .. and I have sandwiches dreaming to be this good often! Instant fan? Wishing you continued success ... And another sandwich ????✌??”
“A Greek café steak kebabs, delicious good food a nice place to go and meet friends Met the owner you can't get any you can't get any better he wants you to experience Greek food at its best”
“Right from the beginning this place awesome! Yes it is a little tight spacing wise but it was really cozy and child friendly! If you like feeling at home this is the place for you. And let me tell you the corn bread here is a must omg it is incredible you won’t need anything else in life I’m telling you. This place was also built in the 1800s so you can tell children that this restaurant was built a “long time ago”. The servers were average but food was next level. Definitely check this place out if you have kids super kid friendly and talk about friendly, atmosphere is super cool and unlike any restaurant I have seen. I live close by and it is walking distance so I come here pretty much every weekend! Come here you won’t regret anything!”
“We had a party of 10 on New Year’s Day. The woman/manager working that day was genuine, friendly, and just as fantastic as the pizzas she made! We called ahead and she had all 3 pizzas ready on time. She created a truly fabulous experience! Been going to this location for decades and will continue when we’re in town.”
“Fresh organic smoothies, bowls, and juices made from scratch. I’ve tried several options on the menu and they are very delicious! Highly recommend. Bonus that the owners and atmosphere is friendly and”
“My mother in law had a ratatouille style transcendent experience with the tom khar gal soup. Everyone else at the table similarly agreed their food was top tier, excellent. Service was attentive and prompt, and the dining area was beautiful and small enough to feel pretty intimate too. Only knocking off one star because one of the seasonal drink specials was a pumpkin spice chai tea which turned out to be just a Stash brand tea bag that you can buy at the grocery store, nothing special or added. That was disappointing but everything else was fantastic and I will definitely go back.”
“We've been on the South Shore for 20 years now and have lived within 2 miles of this restaurant for the last 5 and we've never eaten here before. Not sure why. I think it's just not top of mind since you don't see it easily from the street. Anyway, I was able to get us a reservation last minute on Friday night, so we were excited about that. It's a very cozy, quaint authentic feeling space. Lots of attentive staff members. Food coming from every which direction. The meatballs were just OK - a little dense for my liking. The bread (focaccia) was really good and they gladly brought over more to go with our meals. The shrimp scampi was excellent. Just big enough of a portion. Our son had the chicken parm, which he enjoyed. The mousse cakes (chocolate, and peanut butter - all made by Royal Pastry) were excellent, and the cannoli, while a little runny, was still flavorful. Glad we tried this place out - we will definitely be back.”
“Anthony, Gilly, Derek, and even Doug are great guys! They are so inclusive and make some of the best pizza on the south shore. Can’t wait to grab a slice later this week!!”
“I was extremely impressed with the service! My meal was made perfectly and the only thing that I wish was different is I knew the name of the person who made it for me! I did an online pick up and I’m used to having my changes ignored but EVERY thing I wanted was done perfectly!”
“Great neighborhood deli. If you like deli it's definitely the place to go. I highly recommend it. Drove by it all the time and finally got a chance to stop in and check it out for an early lunch. Nothing like a 9am hot pastrami sandwich from On The Rye!”
“The best food in the friendliest atmosphere. Take home their home cooked dinners and baked goods, very reasonably priced! My favorite take home find: sweet potato burgers and chicken dinners. They have the best of sandwiches and soups too, to stay or go. Donuts from Donut King and all kinds of hot and cold coffee. What’s not to love?”
“Delicious!! I recommend the Injector smoothie, the Caprese Sandwich and the overnight oats. The staff is very kind and accommodating. Food is always fresh and flavorful. Will be back again & again. :)”
