“Cool little restaurant / bar. The sever was attentive, friendly & efficient. Food was good and service was prompt. Good atmosphere. I’d definitely eat here again and looking forward to trying the Sunday Reggae Brunch.Parking: Good, handy, sizeable parking lot right next to the restaurant“
“Extremely tasty meat (and that coming from not a big fan of meat). Atmosphere and interior design is super cosy. Kat, our host was extremely observent and very cautious around our needs and dietary restrictions. Definitely recomend it.Dietary restrictions: Very respectful and mindfull“
“Food came out very quickly. When the food was served they also gave us several bottles of various sauces to use at our discretion, which as a sauce enjoyer I greatly appreciated. The fried chicken and pulled BBQ chicken were both excellent, especially with sauce. The restaurant is certainly a bit noisy and active but the food will quickly absorb your attention.“
“In Boston for the weekend and daughter and I stopped in Easter Sunday for late lunch/early dinner. Fantastic burnt ends, pulled pork. Also got Brussel sprouts and beans which were also fantastic. Ordered ribs and burnts ends with sides to take home to husband and son. Hubby's words - best Easter dinner ever! Think we started a new Easter tradition!“
“Rewriting my review because the place has changed hands and changed menus. Pleasantly surprised to see that brunch was still on the menu, and even more pleasantly surprised to see these awesome Indian brunch fusion dishes. We got the butter chicken eggs Benedict and the masala chai French toast. It was super fun and delicious, definitely considering becoming a regular. My only regret is that the portions have shrunk somewhat since the previous owners.“
“Service is friendly but the BBQ is only ok. Blue Ribbon is a lot better but if you're in Harvard, this might have to do. The brisket isn't that tender but the sausage is decent. The pulled pork is passable. I liked the cornbread and the brussel sprouts though!“
“It's a nightclub, bowling alley, and bar all in one. The feeling you get is unlike what you expect…. It is filled with staff that is welcoming, smiling bartenders, and the perfect playlist that kept us dancing from the moment we walked in. It's clear that from the drinks to the hiring process, the people in charge care about the details. It's not just about making money. It's no surprise why this place is so successful. Incredible job to everyone who works Saturdays our wholethe crew had a fantastic time.“
“Well done Smoke Shop, East Boston! I absolutely recommend it!I had lunch there today with two others. The food and service were excellent and the location is stunning! It was a sunny day so the sun was sparkling on the water :)) The restaurant is large enough to handle a crowd, yet intimate enough to enjoy it solo or as a couple. Between the three of us we ordered the Pitmaster Salad, Pulled Chicken Sandwich w/ Pit Beans, and the Pitmaster BBQ which includes two choices of meats and two choices of sides. I ordered the Burnt Ends and Pulled Chicken w/ Brussels Sprouts (w/ onion jam), and Zucchini Salad sides. The meats were cooked to perfection. It melted in your mouth and nothing was overly-sauced - just right! The Zucchini Salad was addicting. It had a nice dressing that added wonderful flavor to the salad. The Brussels Sprouts were tender and onion jam was the perfect compliment. If you're looking for a salad then the Pitmaster Salad is for you. It has a great balance of sweet and savory. It is great on its own or you can choose one of the meats as an add on... and you can never go wrong with their sandwiches. They are great anytime, anywhere! A big shout-out to Andy and Maria for making our afternoon so wonderful and memorable!“
“I got a menu in the mail and decided to try Themis Pizza and so happy I did. Everything we got was great. Wife got a turkey club daughter got a steak tip sub and I got a meatball sub. It was so good we went back a couple days later wife got a turkey sub daughter got another steak tip and I got chicken fingers and curly fries and everything was great again. I will definitely be back there there are many more things I want to try. Pizza, pasta, seafood, calzone and more I don't know what I will get but I bet it will be delicious“
“Possibly the best biscuits I've had to go with excellent brisket and pulled chicken and the biggest chicken tenders around. All the meat was flavorful, tender and juicy and the tenders were perfectly fried to a crisp, rich exterior. And can't leave out the broccoli and cheese with crushed Ritz crackers (in a separate container to keep them crunchy).“
“It's absolutely delicious!!I wasn't expecting much because I was very disappointed at other Korean restaurants, but it was as good as the restaurants in Korea and it was even clean. If you're looking for a Korean restaurant in Boston, this is definitely the place.(However, the song is loud so I can't hear the words clearly)“
“Amazing soul food if not one of the best soul food establishments in the Greater Boston Area! Establishments with this type of menu are hard to come by especially at this quality!I’ve been coming here for years and the food never disappoints! The sides are perfectly made and I absolutely love their Mac and cheese and candied yams! Their chicken are amazing but at times it can be over cooked/dry but we all make mistakes! The only complaint with this establishment is that the wait times can be from 30 minutes to even an hour at times and that’s understandable if they’re busy. But to see their prices drastically increase year after years is honestly sad. It’s getting to the point where the value of a combination plate isn’t there anymore. It’s roughly $20 for a combination plate with small portions of each side. I remember when it was under $15 :(.All in all, this place is a hidden gem in Cambridge and honestly one of the few options in the area for this type of food. Price wise, I feel as if it’s over priced for what it is but the quality is there.8/10!“
“I've been meaning to write this review for sometime, because Lisa and her staff absolutely deserve their flowers. We have used Tex's BBQ express for our annual staff cookouts for years. When we send out the invitation one of the first questions that are asked is "are we getting food from Tex's?" The staff are so polite, accommodating, and easy to work with. I am excited to use them each year for annual outings, but their food is so delicious and they make me want to host parties of my own with them on the grill. CANNOT recommend highly enough“
“One of the best Sichuan restaurants in town!!! Although it’s hard to find parking around the area. It’s my go-to place if hungry for some authentic Chinese food. The flavor is rich and on-point, their BBQ is another must-try from the menu. Highly recommended!“
“Hands down, the Best BBQ in Greater Boston. Best of all, it's cheaper than a flight to Texas. Place is a garage in Union Square with no seating - it's takeout only. The guy that runs the spot is super passionate about the craft and was kind enough to chat and explain the process. Only caveat is that the brisket sells out fairly early. The sides are very good, don't sleep on them. Between this place, BT's in Sturbridge and Rusty Can in Byfield - the New England *good* Q scene is slowly improving.“
“Friendship BBQ is my go-to spot for mouthwatering barbecue in Boston. The food here never disappoints. The brisket is tender, and the sauces are a flavor explosion. Quick service and affordable prices make it even better. I keep coming back for more!“
“The food there is always so delicious and the staff there are always so polite!!! The friendly man (not sure if he is the owner) took good care of us by providing us plastic aprons in case we stained our shirts, gave me another spoon without me having to ask, and overall provided great service. Food + service was a 10/10! My fav place to go now!!!“
“The food here at Feijó is definitely worth the try. You can either do the all you can eat or pay by plate, we did the pay by plate. There are several meat options, my favorite was the top sirloin and also the wings.. my least favorite was the garlic steak (it was very tough). This restaurant is more on the smaller side however its perfect to grab a quick lunch.“
“Very good ! The food is great if you like to eat meat. Rally good. The sides are good but not a great variety of them. There aren’t any spicy side. And they don’t have any Tabasco or any other spicy sauce to order , that was a bit weird for me.The waiter was so kind and servicial . Very good. All was as expected , very good .“
“Wonderful BBQ! I’ve been dying for certain local places but they aren’t open for lunch. Reunion BBQ is nearby so we stopped in for some takeout lunch. The owner is so kind and friendly. We got a bucket of biscuits and a two meat tray to try. The ribs are AMAZING. Smoky and tender. The best BBQ sauce I’ve ever had on the side. The chopped brisket is the best I’ve had. Literally the best. Really good coleslaw and beans. And the biscuits with the sweet butter are unreal. You have to try this place. I’m very picky and I’ll be back here often. And live music on Friday nights!Kid-friendliness: Really nice space for families. Definitely bring the kids. They’ll love it.“
“We had a lovely waitress who was very attentive for lunch on Thursday, March 28th and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal of Boneless Short Ribs (Galbi), Boneless Chicken with a pesto sauce (Dak Galbi), Thin Sliced Beef Brisket (Chadolbagi), Short steak (jumulleok), Flank Steak (Chimasal), and vegetables, such as zucchini, mushrooms, peppers, and other veggies. We started with miso soup that was excellent, a large salad that we shared with horseradish dressing, and a bowl of rice. The Korean BBQ uses charcoal which gives the meat a more authentic flavor. The meat was thinly sliced and marinated before cooking. Korean BBQ grills are designed to be used indoors, and when the grill started getting pieces of food stuck, our waitress, removed the grill and gave us a new grill. There were three sauces to enjoy with the meat which were teriyaki, ponzu, and spicy sauce. We very much enjoyed the experience, and spent two hours enjoying our meal. My colleague is from Seoul, and she knows an authentic barbecue restaurant, and I chose the restaurant because of all the positive reviews. We will be back again! Thank you so much for a wonderful meal! Our sincere thanks!“
“Why can I not order wings on the Doordash app? I can order everything else but NOT wings??The food is great, service could be better.Multiple times I stopped by during lunch for wings and their excuse was "No wings right now, check back at 2 pm". I did check back after the recommended time and still no wings.. ridiculous .. A real hit or miss if you stop by the TD HUB a lot for lunch.Main reason for this review is to add "wings" as an option to order PICKUP on the Doordash app.“
“We went there for a tasting for them to cater our wedding. The food was very delicious with plenty of options for the event. We met with the owner and catering manager and they explained the process. There were plenty of samples to choose. Looking forward to having our guest enjoy their food.“
“Food: 74/80 (92.5%). We ordered a variety of meat skewers, corn, cold noodles, and foil enoki. Everything was delicious especially the corn, foil enoki, and lamb skewer. Only lost some points because some of the beef skewers were slightly dry.Service/Atmosphere 8/10. Service was quick, good atmosphere.Re-eatability 8/10. Quite a big menu, not too expensive.Overall: 90/100. Very chill vibes and great food. Will definitely be going back as I think they have a lot of unique food on their menu that you don't see often at other restaurants.“
“Exactly the Americanized Chinese food I was looking for. Beef and broccoli was my favorite. Very solid pork fried rice. Peking ravs were the fried kind that are drier on the outside- not my style but still juicy and tasty inside. Crab Rangoon was crispy and delicious but abandoned any thought of crabbiness.“
“Stepping in we were greeted by Derek with a friendly welcome! Lucky for us Derek was our server! He was EXCELLENT! Friendly, helpful and so gracious! Food was great, kids even cleared their plates. Derek’s recommendations were on point! All that said, cleanliness had us very concerned, the bathroom was atrocious. Derek certainly helped us look beyond the bathroom and enjoy our experience.“
“I follow all of their prior spots because Morell' BBQ food is fantastic & friendly. This time had Chicken leg//thigh combo + shared potatoe salad, cole slaw, collard greens perfectly seasoned sides.Vegetarian options: Collards cooked with turkey, yes!Parking: Small parking area. Plenty of business spaces nearby.“
“This place in my personal opinion slapz i haven't had anything bad yet maybe a few sides are a lil plain but my favs are the collard greens mac n cheese potatoe salad baked beans green beans good just add salt the chilli shall i go on ?? Lol... I'm omw now for lunch ? some of the cashiers not always so friendly but that's kool just make sure my order right yall can keep the annoyed faces ...Parking: Just a Lil shared parking lot other businesses are there aswell“
“Nice little place in Winthrop. Atmosphere is great. Good selection of craft cocktails and craft beer.Food was hit and miss. The vinegar flavor to the pulled pork had a nice zing to it but was a bit overwhelming. The burnt ends were flavorful and tender but could have been crisper. The spicy slaw and mashed potatoes were spot on.I'd like to come back and try some other dishes, including the BBQ fries. And I disagree with other reviewers comparing Blackstrap to places in the Carolinas and Texas. I didn't expect the place to be internationally competitive. It's good for Boston and worth a visit.“
“The pizza is so delicious. If you're visiting Korea, you should definitely order pizza here. It's so delicious. A huge pizza costs $20 haha. This is the first time I tried reasonable food during my 10-day trip to Boston.the pizza is so delicious , big and price is soooo good!!! I strongly recommend this restaurant!!!!“
“The best char siu in Chinatown!Duck, chicken and pork belly are also very good. Scallion dipping sauce is a must.Service can be a bit brusque at times but don’t let that bother you. The food is well worth it.Take out & cash only. Highly recommended.“
“Best AUTHENTIC Jamaican food around! May have a short wait in line or oxtails finish fast- but, overall this is the place to get your jerk pork, jerk chicken or oxtails! Flavorful and cooked well! They cater too! I have used their catering services a few times - never disappointed.“
“I recently visited this SGD Dubu near Braintree, MA, during my trip to Boston, MA, and it was a delightful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was top-notch. We tried the Tteok-bokki, which was incredibly flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The noodles from the soup with beef were a hit at our table, and the seafood scallion pancake was a must-try. What sets this place apart is its limited menu, which ensures that each dish is of excellent quality. They also offer lunch specials, which are worth it. Additionally, the food was served promptly, which was great since we were a group of 9. The best part was that they were happy to accommodate splitting the payments. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend."“
