Nice place to go out singing with frens.

Food was better on previous trip. The AC broke the day we went. Very hot. Cooler outside. Had to ask for a fan. The server never offered it and brought it at the end of our meal. She was new but it seemed she was totally not into her work.

Looks like a shady place. I would recommend anywhere else

Me and a buddy were at the bar playing Keno. The manager , inspected our money, and initially refused to offer us bathroom services unless we purchased a drink. Under the eye of the manager, the bartender asked for my I.D. after I told her I wasn't drinking . She got flustered. I got frustrated , and we left . Poor service. This could have been avoided if we were carded at the door.

We entered the room for our first time and were informed we would be charged $50 for an hour we agreed and as there were only 2 of us assumed we would be informed when we were being charged for the second hour but we're surprised to find that after our hour had expired and the establishment was empty but for our custom we were charged $220!!!!!!!! Absolute rip off scam. Make sure the staff inform you on the hour of your bill!! When questioned they played d*** and a stupid friend of the staff offered my professional husband a fight outside the establishment for questioning the price, very embarrassing for all involved. Will NOT be returning.

This place is a cut above the rest for music but sharp disagreement with management, will give Five Stars if they agree to dryclean clothes stained by mysterious red liquid from one of the seats. Give a stab at karaoki here!

This place is where you would go after you've exhausted all your options and just have to sing your heart out as if you don't already do so during one of your many shower concerts. You have two options for rooms: one is a sound proof room and one is the common area (the first room to the left) and the door is wide open. I have been into both rooms and there is not much difference to the rooms besides the fact that one is more private and everyone can see you in the common room as they walk by. The private rooms are more expensive, I think I paid almost 50$ for a little over a couple hours. Their song selection of geared towards the old songs and Chinese songs, nothing too modern. The service here is pretty crappy too. They don't really try to actively help us or anything. They just come into the room, ask what you want to drink, leave, come back, and you get charged a large amount for a little drink. Remember: Last Resort Only.

The worst place I have ever been. Just when I thought the service was bad enough, they tricked us with the bill and charged us 24 dollars for four cups of hot water served in glasses. Of course we refused to pay for that. And the servers threatened us that they could give us a fine and charge us for even more money. We thought that was preposterous and still refused to pay. They finally gave up and cross that off the bill. After all these, they even had the nerve to ask for tips!!!! And they said it is mandatory tips of 15%!!! They won't let us go if we don't pay the tips. At last the police came in and let us go. I can't believe we need to bother he police for this crap thing. But obviously the police think they are stupid too. We argued for about 30 minutes, and left in 10 minutes after the police came. Don't go!!!!!!

The worst karaoke place I've been. Really shitty drinks and close to zero service. The seafood place next door ain't bad though.

Jazz Moon: Dirty crack! Shit-hole!! If I could give zero (0) stars, I would. The staff will not only deny you faucet/tap water, they also will not allow you to bring your glass to the bathroom to fetch your own water!!! You have to buy $6 bottled water. Good grief!!!! I hate bottled water. I had had several beers and was thirsty. I needed water: A lot of water. Also, patrons smoke in the restrooms. Bring your own cups and pitchers!! Post what happens/your story. Call the cops. Scum!!!

Don't come to this place! The owner is dishonest. If you come, make sure you look at the bill carefully before you pay. I am totally agreed with the other reviewer: the owner tends to trick you for overcharging! We ordered 5 pitchers of beer last night, and when the waitress brings us beer, she also left us a tray of small plate snacks. I thought the snack was free, however, they charged us $6 for each plate in the end without notice. Second time when the waitress came in, she brought us 6 cans of soda and said if we don't drink those sodas, we don't have to pay it. However, in the end, they put it on our bill. One of my friends asked the owner to take the sodas off from our bill, the owner tried to trick us and only took 3 sodas off from our bill. After all of this, the owner still got the nerve to ask us for the tips.

This place is where I usually go for karaoke since choices are limited around Boston. A fair alternative would be The Golden Leaf Karaoke in Chinatown. First of all, Jazzmoon gears more towards Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese) customers for sure so if you are expecting to sing American songs, you might be disappointed. The Chinese pop songs are actually quite up-to-date and easy to select from. The kind of dark, small-rooms with closed-door set up might be strange to American customers but it is actually very standard and popular in Hong Kong -- it gives you privacy and allow you to sing as loud as you want without disturbing the others. They do have a small open area next to the counter with sofas and small tables that you can sing openly. The standard package comes with free drinks, you can order appetizer and meal with additional charge (they typically order from the restaurant next door). As far as I recall, service is okay but not impressive. Sound quality-wise, I mean it's not as good as the one you can find in Hong Kong but acceptable for leisure singing.

No, no, no. They charge $6 for a bottle of water, and they don't offer free pitchers like I've seen just about every other place do. At the end of the night, they had the nerve to tell us, "Tip isn't included" and hand the check back to us, when the only thing they did for us the whole night was bring in a tray of five $6 bottles of water (which they didn't warn us about). Ridiculous. You have to select songs from the screen at one end of the room right by the TV, so if a couple people stand up, it blocks the view of the screen, at least in our room. It's inconvenient to have people constantly having to get up in order to select more songs. They divide their artists up by mainland or HK... but what about Taiwanese artists? You just have to pick one category and hope they're in there somewhere. Their song selection is not the best. When we'd pick the karaoke version of songs (without the original artist singing), the music would sometimes go in and out, so you felt like you weren't getting a proper track to sing to. The microphones were very, very quiet. The covers they gave us for them ripped almost immediately. Don't go! It's not worth the drive or the effort.

Very bad experience. First of all, the sound system is terrible with high pitch metal sound coming from mic all the time. Second, very limited song selections. (can't even sort the song by singers!!!). The service was horrible too, no body shows up no matter how many time you ask for it. The owner also tends to trick you for overcharging (definitely look at the bill before you pay!!). Don't recommend this place at all!!
