If you live in Boston and haven't been to this place, you need to resolve that. Food is deliciously authentic. Little piece of Puerto Rico.

Place could definitely use a facelift, but get that it’s part of the charm. Our food was great, good value and excellent service. Didn’t feel rushed when ordering and guy answered all our questions. Music was a little loud. Sangria drink needs to be way better (assuming it’s concentrate & liquor). Got the seafood salad and the ribs. Tostones were fantastic. House made spicy vinegar was 10/10. Just being a bit critical because how much I liked the place. Must go if you’re in the area. Definitely coming back.

The rice and stewed chicken only had olive flavor, there was a lack of salt and sofrito in the rice and the beans had no flavor ?The only good thing was the avocado

This Puerto Rican Whole in the wall is a Dudley Street institution and is also a sort of make thrift night spot on the weekends. Here are all your Puerto Rican Favorites and they Specialize in their namesake Mondongo (Beef Tripe) try them out you're sure to love it. It is a bit divey put it has a rustic charm.
It's a very small place, parking is difficult. Any other day but the weekend is good to go, the weekend is super packed..Parking: There is street parking on the weekend it is difficult to find..

El mondonguito was a fun experience especially after 10. The restaurant turns into a little club and the beers are super, super cheap! Food is good as well especially the chicharron.
