This place rocks. I'm a local and this is my go-to for breakfast and lunch in Somerville. Jose is a great dude and the waitresses are all cool. Wish they were open at night, too. I'd be in there all the time.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options- few vegan
Buddy's is very good as you stumble up its front steps and forcefully if not forcibly slide open its heavy metal door to enter a relic of bygone years. The menu is simple: pieces of paper and/or paper plates with writing hang from the wall behind the counter. You choose what you want and you tell the server(s) and/or cook(s). this is hands down one of the best breakfast places i have ever been to. an absolute GEM. great service, delicious food, and an old school vibe. you can’t beat it. i miss this so much!
