Service , amazing. Food, outstanding. Happy to return to Nadim's any day.
Tried to eat here this past Friday evening after hearing good things about the food. I called at 5:30pm asking if reservations were required and requested a 7pm seating. I was told they wouldn’t be taking anymore reservations for the evening but we could eat at the bar or to come after 7:30pm for most likely a better time to get seated. We arrived at 7:45pm and the host informed us that no, they were not going to be serving anyone else as the cook “was tired” . I informed he host (which is the exact person I spoke with on the phone) that we specifically told to come around that time . He relented and acted as if he would try to seat us but we decided to leave. Very disappointed and astonished that on Friday evening your turning away business. Didn’t get to taste the food but it leaves a bad taste.
Got take away and it was absolutely fantastic! Only a simple order of lentil soup and spinach pie, we were amazed how delicious and complex the flavors are! Hope we can drop by again ASAP.
Great place to eat or drinks
The food is not that big of a big deal. I mean it's okay, but the atmosphere is very nice and the service is awesome.
Second time visiting Nadim's and we were again treated like family! Food is some of the best we've had in Western MA! If you are looking for great food, Nadim's is a sure bet...but you may want to make reservations as this place is in demand!!
Embarrassed to say that this was our first time here when they’ve been downtown for 16 years. That will change quickly! Absolutely the best dining experience we’ve had in Western, MA since moving back to the area in 2001. Every single food choice was so tasty, authentic and fresh. Food is carefully prepared thoughtfully and consistently. Staff was so friendly and attentive. Nadia paid us a visit and made us feel like regulars, offered us complimentary deserts as well. Nice touch. My wife and daughter are already signing up for cooking lessons in July. Will now be regulars! A+++
Ordered the Mediterranean salmon dish with sautéed vegetables and rice pudding for desert. The salmon was perfectly cooked seasoned and so were the veggies. If I didn’t know any better I would think the chef was up to something. The rice pudding was delicious and definitely enough for two people but I couldn’t stop so I’ll deal with that later. To-go order was a little late but I’ve waited much longer for a lot less.Definitely would go again.
They typically have good food but poor service - which they should improve especially since they are downtown and close to the casino. Multiple tables open outside but since we didn't have a reservation we were sat inside despite asking for an outside table. Now we are waiting 30+ minutes to even place an order. I dont remember it being this slow and with less than half restaurant at capacity. I did expect better Nadim's, what a disappointment.
My first time ordering today from Nadim's Downtown Springfield. I ordered the lemon and cilantro chicken and regular fries. The chicken was very very dry and tuff. It looked old had no flavor. It came with a dipping sauce that looked and tasted like plain mayo. The fries soggy, salty, oily. I had no choice but to eat since my blood sugar was dropping and my bus to back to Boston was leaving. Know I'm sitting here with bad intergestion on my way back too Boston.
So enjoyed my dinner there with my honey. We had such a good time and the owner definitely entertained us. Some good laughs! Waitress was unbelievable and my boyfriend left her a very big tip she came back and asked him are you sure about this. It was really cute!
We loved this restaurant. We came up to Springfield just for a one night get away with the pups. This restaurant was right around the corner from our hotel. There was plenty of outside dining but we did takeaway! Food was delicious. The service picking up was great. We will definitely come again.Appetizers kibby lamb shank and salmon were perfect. Rice was delish! Thank you for the great food !
We stopped in and had lunch, because of their excellent rating. It turns out that the rating doesn't go high enough! If we could give them a 10 we would. Their dipping sauce Toum [not sure of the spelling] was just incredible and the Mezza [several different appetizers on one plate] even more so. The service provided by Jill, was equally excellent and we could not recommend them highly enough. We being a Middle Eastern Food Aficionados for the past 35 years, we really know what we like. Nadim's is the definition of the most awful/ worst service we have ever encountered from both our server and hosting staff! It's truly disgusting that such service is possible to a customer supporting your business- especially during these times. But on the food front- the entire one star goes to the calamari which was the best we've all had- simply fantastic. We also had the pasta salad with chicken (incredibly oily and not very good), lamb (good meat quality but zero flavor), mash potatoes (were ok), fried salmon appetizer (out right awful), fries (drenched in oil). I do not recommend this place to anyone!- sorry for the confusion as I moved this review to my Local Guide account (I only review on this account as well as Yelp)
I took out lunch from here on a working Friday. This place seems very popular. To get a seat, there was a 30 minute wait. I ordered food in advance. But it took more than 30 minutes for them to get it ready. So definitely order well in advance. And there were some mess up in the take out order for the guy in front of me. So that delayed as well. I went for Nadim's sampler for 2. It was more than sufficient for 2 people. I also took an extra side of Hashwee rice. That was my absolute favorite here. It is flavorful rice topped with crunchy almonds. Rice pilaf was just ok. Fattoush salad was nice with fresh veggies. Sampler appetizer trio was good - Hummus, falafal and cauliflower. From the 3 meets - chicken, lamb and kafta, kafta was my favorite. The garlic sauce side enhanced the flavor of any thing that touched it. The sampler for 2 came with a set of 4 loaves of bread. That tasted very nice as well. I kept it in fridge and took after a day, but it got spoiled. So it seems not preservative in the bread. Eat it fresh if you get it.
