Come on. South Shore Bar Pizza let’s go! You’ll get what you’re looking for if (you know what you’re looking for) Great undercarriage crispy edges no flop and good on sauce. Don’t be afraid to add your own ingredients as well. We went on a Friday night and they had a ton of take out so the kitchen was a little behind but you’re not going to mind waiting for a few. Definitely worth a trip to Taunton. Honorable mention for the clam chowder.

We ordered food to go. Everything we got was great. We had chicken tenderloins, fries, onion rings, and cheese sticks. The only thing is I thought it was a little pricey. $50 for just these things. I didn't even get meals. I honestly could have gone anywhere and gotten actual meals for less than that. The food was good though.

Cute corner dive with AMAZING pizza. Lori is an absolute rock star. Friendly and welcome atmosphere - newbies are welcomed by the regulars. Highly recommended the bar pizza- I can’t say enough good things about it.

Have been wanting to try bar pizza from mass for awhile now, I was in the area and it's was lunch time so I definitely had to make a stop here. Took a look at the menu and ordered the bar pizza with feta, Roni and chorizo which was delicious and also ordered some onion rings. Everything was delicious ?.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time a few days ago. It has a friendly neighborhood tavern feel. The food was good for the most part. The mashed potatoes were dry, but the onion rings were out of this world! It's so hard to find really good onion rings and without a doubt these were great! The service was really good and the atmosphere pleasant. I must give a heads up though on something I've never seen before. When the bill came it had, of course, sales tax added but it also had a "meals tax" added on. Lastly, if you look close at the bill you will see that they give a discount if you pay in cash.
Nice little townie bar. I'm new to the area and usually go to Smitty's for bar pizza but they are closed on my days off so I tried Grove St Tavern and it did not disappoint. The bar tenders were friendly and attentive and the pizza was delicious. I will definitely frequent this place.

Not sure why it took me so long to try this place! For sure, one of the best south shore bar pizzas you can get. The buttery crust is my favorite part.Mozzarella sticks were delicious but the marinara sauce really knocked them out of the park.Can’t wait to try everything off the menu!
