“Greg's is a Watertown Italian classic restaurant. You will love it unless you're expecting it to be a trendy, pricy, contemporary place that it is not trying to be. The atmosphere is old school booths, tables and wall decor. The bathrooms are clean, very tight, but functional. The food and service is where the place shines. Great Parmesans, meatballs red sauce and seafood. Very reasonable prices.“
“Friendly staff, including folks I know from High School, relaxed atmosphere, and tasty pub food. Highly recommend the BLT plate, and their Burgers are delicious. Definitely get their sweet potato fries, those things are addictive. Can be a bit busy at times, but it’s a down to earth local bar/pub. Good for a night with that family, or watching the Pats. They also have a large variety of drinks and spirits. And they will occasionally have live music on the weekends (local bands)Kid-friendliness: I see a lot of families come in for lunch on the weekends. Pretty chill place for families, and staff our friendly.“
“Obe of the better reasonably priced burgers and sandwiches places in the area. Full bar. Lots of choices. Many locals. All around great place to go for a burger(or sandwich) and a beer.Parking: On street plenty of parking(meter and free) and parking(free) lot behind“
“The food was pretty good. I’d have to say the stake tip cascades are delicious! They are amazing! And I’d totally comeback just to try those. All and all just a small local place. The entrance was kinda confusing, no signs on the doors saying which side is the fine in and the bar. The place looks pretty cool, nice waiter/waitress. It’s a little local bar, chill atmosphere. Just a new place to try. The other thing I’d have to say is I was calling the place for quite a while and no one picked up, called a couple times and then decided to go. It was rush hour, so I figured it was busy. But good place just to drop by and experience something new with your buddies“
“Delicious! Hadn’t been in person since pre-COVID and finally made it out to Branchline tonight. I didn’t realize how much I missed the chicken until I had it again tonight. The sides were amazing and service great, too. Will be back again soon. Thanks, Branchline!“
“Ordered pickup, my partner and I both got bison burgers after she convinced me I'd like them. I loved it!Unfortunately I dont feel like the cook knew how to cook to temperature, we asked for Medium Well and received Rare/Med Rare, but luckily I'm not picky and actually prefer rare meat. I know it could be a deterrent for those that are not like me.Aside from that, the burger options are all delicious and everything is seasoned well, tasty and juicy. Fries are amazing cut with skin on and salted perfectly!Mobile pickup counter staff are extremely friendly and service is prompt!Definitely a new favorite as we returned the next night for a birthday treat for her and will continue to return when we can :)“
“What more could you want? The food is amazing and the atmosphere checks all the boxes! You want to watch sports, enjoy your meal, indoors, outdoors...Donohue's has it! I've been here many times, staff is always very friendly, inviting and leaves you with a hometown bar/restaurant vibe. There is available street parking, I've never had difficulty finding a spot. They do theme nights, trivia, live music... check them out! You wont be disappointed and you'll be back!“
“The food is amazing! The coffee is surprisingly smooth with a deep bouquet. Seating is crowded in the small space available. They ask for guests to not linger longer than an hour. Ordering is at the counter even for those seated in the restaurant. I'm rather introverted and find the crowded seating and counter ordering to be uncomfortable. The discomfort of the crowd is contrary to the relaxing comfort the atmosphere is intended to be.Dietary restrictions: They offer alternatives for milk and other items.Parking: They have a small lot with roughly 20 parking spaces close together. No reserved handicapped parking.Wheelchair accessibility: The door is leveled to the ground and wide enough for a wheel chair. I did not see a button to automatically open though.“
“This is an excellent place! The people are kind and amiable, as most of us Latinos are.The food is excellent!!I had a torta (is like a big sandwich made with telera bread, spread with refried beans, mine had stake but they also have chicken options, tomato slices, jalapeños). It took me back to my dear Mexico.100% recommend.“
“Decided to use 4 stars as 3.5 stars was not an option. Seating was quick and friendly and the menu was better than expected for the style of place City Works is. Tons of free parking right at/in Arsenal Yards including the garage. Great for bad weather days.Nice atmosphere (Sports bar Plus) and there were many, many BIG screens to watch current games from all over the world. Liked the spacing of the tables as well, and you had some choices of booths, raised tables.Big enough menu, but I would like to see a slightly larger one, and for a "beer" place, not a big enough selection, but I give them credit for choosing fairly well. Tastes win out slightly over branding. I like that.Service was good, above average, but not outstanding. (3.5)Pulled pork: Decent taste, but it was a little dry; it needed the three sauces to finish quickly. Hard to eat without the sauces though. (3.0)BBQ Wings: I really liked them, charred, bbq, dry rub style. I will give them a 4 out of 5, but if you are a hardcore bbq wings person, you will probably give them a 3. (4.0)Corn on the Cob: Fantastic! (4.5)Ribs: Need their own review, but plenty of meat on the bones, good flavor, worth getting but WAY TOO DRY; Wish I could score them higher but they are about a (3.25)Sausage links: Good. (3.5)Sauces: Good Selection, but not spicy enoughBeans: Very, very good, but bbq sauce was too sweet for my taste. Most people would say (4.0I would go back again, just not going to be a regular here. Great for small groups and meet-ups with friends and co-workers though. A little expensive for me, one meal and one beverage with tax and tip was over $50. If you are from the South or the Midwest, you will have a lower rating than I gave it, except for the corn and the beverages and atmosphere.Major props for trying hard though.(Very, very clean; Great bathrooms; A very, very well run place)Overall: 3.5 starsParking: Easy and free and plenty of it.“
“We had a small birthday celebration at NYAJ . It was a memorable evening- great food, however I couldn't believe how curt the waiter was with us. He did, however, bring a birthday dessert upon request and sing with us which was memorable.“
“Our new favorite joint!! The portions are generous and cocktails are on point. Max and Chelsea are amazing humans and it’s evident the love they’ve poured into this restaurant. Dining there feels like coming home… minus the family drama/judgment and with the tastiest, most nurturing home cooked meal. We are so happy to have this neighborhood gem so close to us.“
