Went here for lunch enjoyed the food. The wait staff was very attentive food came out at a reasonable time for a rather large party of 20. Would recommendParking: Parking around back

We were driving through and settled on Tavern Restaurant as the most promising option in 30 miles. We were not disappointed! The three of us had the luncheon special, 10 oz. prime rib with potato and broccoli, which was just $15. Many good beers were on tap. A model train was running around above the bar for the holidays. The service was excellent. I only wish I lived closer so I could visit again soon.

I have been here a few times before, and I have enjoyed it every time. This time I got the chicken parm, and it was very good. For some reason, the pasta is treated as a side and comes separately, but then again the main portion of chicken is very large so I can see why they would want to divide them. The sauce is unique in my opinion; sometimes spicy and sometimes sweet, but never both at once. Perhaps it was two different sauces, but if so they were thoroughly mixed.Parking:...read full review
