They list corn tortillas for all tacos. What I got is flour. I have autoimmune disease and I would never have come here if they served on flour. When I called to tell them my order was wrong (voice shaking bc that is dangerous for me), I was told I was wrong and that in fact I wouldn’t receive corn tortillas unless requested. Both the girl that picked up the phone and the manager said this. Then, when I read her the menu I which says “all tacos” on “hand stretched corn tortilla” she said it’s a special kind of corn flour (that tastes and smells like flour like). I received argument upon argument while I’m mid-panic attack. Then she hung up on me. They advertise their ingredients as one thing and sell another. Anyone with any health issues BEWARE.What little I could eat by the way, was absolutely disgusting. Truly gross, dry, flavorless.

Just as a previous reviewer said, food was just food and nothing special to write about. However this review is for Monday 3/11/2024 6pm. Our waiter Juan C. was not so great. He mumbles and speaks softly, so we had a hard time understanding him. He got our drink orders wrong and also got one of our dishes wrong as well. I asked for the ultimate cheese enchilada and he came back with the shrimp enchilada. I’m allergic to shrimp and he insisted I gave the wrong order. On the menu the shrimp enchilada is below the cheese enchilada. May have been a miscommunication but as a server he should have confirmed the orders and spoke loud and clear. At first, I let it slide but he kept insisting it was my fault. Anyone with a food allergy understands how bad this could have gone. When we received the check, he didn’t void the shrimp enchilada and wanted us to pay. Plus we sent that dish back because it was not going to be eaten. Next time you’re at Ocho, don’t get Juan C. as your waiter. Definitely enjoy the food with a waitstaff with more experience.Juan C. - taller gentlemen, looks bewildered and bug eyed, biggest trait is his low mumbling tone.

Sat 2/24/24 at 6PM - was sat and no one came over for 10 minutes. Did have a bus boy come by and I asked for the manager. Waited 5 more minutes, no manager, no waiter. They were not busy and saw tons of servers hanging out.Sorry shouldn’t have to wait 15 minutes just to be taken care of. We left disappointed because we love this place but it’s needs better service and managers that care.

This place is by far my girlfriend's favorite authentic Mexican restaurant - therefore it's my favorite by proxy ahaha! In all seriousness, this place is excellent - it is highly recommended by both her and me. My favorite is the ultimate cheese enchiladas there and I really like to follow that up with their cheesecake chimichangas for dessert.

We found this restaurant while shopping in Lowes across the way. Ever since we had our 1st meals there, it has become our favorite spot to eat mexican food. The margaritas are deliciously made, the flan is amazing.
