I had a really good experience at Chuan Shabu. $20 for AYCE lunch is a good deal. Additional charge for special broths. (between $3 - 5) You can choose up to 3 broths, but my friend and I opted for two. (herbal & malay) The Malay broth was flavorful but not too spicy. The Herbal broth was okay, nothing too impressive. I can't speak to any details about this restaurant with regards to interior, cleanliness, service because I got their food on an Uber Eats delivery. I will say however that the food was fine. Nothing special but certainly quite serviceable for Chinese food. They do make a basil fried rice which was quite good and I've never had anything like that before so I would give them a good plus for that but the wonton soup was under par. The food was great and quick and curdious service. Everything was clean, especially during this pandemic. The prepositions are manageable and they're ready to bring you more if you ask for it. If anything, going to a Hotpot at least once in your life is a must.
