Outstanding meal at home from Close Co. during COVID. I had the beef cheeks and my husband had the scallops. We started with the mushroom roulette and ended our meal with the triple chocolate dessert. Excellent.
Great shop. Their cocktails are EXCELLENT and everyone who works there is kind and fun. The atmosphere is intimate and great for event dinners like birthdays or Christmas parties. In the summer the patio brings the inside atmosphere outside and you can watch Stafford go by. The menu is evolving and I’ve never been let down.Make sure you get the focaccia with your meal and if you’re having a cocktail get the Gardener. We tried everything (except for the olives and tomato salad) and can honestly say it was the best meal we've had in a long time. We are sad we're not from Winnipeg and can't eat from here every day! The portions were surprisingly plentiful, prices were fair, and the flavour and creativity was out of this world. Call and reserve now, you won't regret it!
