“AMAZING!! We had AZTK cater our NYE party and the food was outstanding and the service was even better! They were super efficient and professional start to finish! Very accommodating and supportive through the process is making selections etc. We ordered and picked up food for our event the same week! No issues! I would highly recommend using them for a party or any event!“
“Yum. Had a great Margarita - custom, just lime juice, no sour mixer....didn't have to be Patron, just good tequila. Since my first time here, tried the enchiladas- pollo, chorizo and carnitas. But I asked for 1/2 mole and 1/2 salsa verde and they accommodated.. All of it was very tasty. The mole was excellent and each enchilada was very nice flavor. Service was fast and polite. Atmosphere was nice, what I would call modern Latino versus traditional music. Got to watch the game too. Nice selection of tequila. I will be back. Can't wait to try the house specialities.“
“Food here is so good. It's the most affordable and convenient place to get tacos around here, and the horchata is not bad at all (unlike another local Mexican spot, looking at you senior chiles) Obviously the ambience isn't going to be that of any restaurant because it's in a gas station (duh) but they did have flowers out the last time I was there and it smelled very pretty inside. Service is quick and they are nice as long as you are straight to be point and polite.“
“Antojitos Taco Truck serves up some truly delightful Mexican fare, showcasing their culinary prowess with both chicken and barbacoa tacos that are a must-try. The tacos come packed with flavor, tender meat, and are wrapped in fresh, soft tortillas, making each bite a satisfying experience. Additionally, their red salsa stands out for its perfect balance of spice and flavor, adding an extra kick to the tacos without overwhelming the delicate taste of the meat. Whether you're a fan of traditional Mexican cuisine or just in search of a tasty bite, Antojitos Taco Truck delivers on quality and taste. A visit here promises a delightful meal that’s both authentic and delicious.“
“When visiting Annapolis, visit Jalapeños! My new favorite place. Spanish style restaurant with flare. Dont let the outside strip mall window scare you! The stunning beauty of this restaurant feels like Spain. Lots of space for large parties & children. Prices range fair to great! An entire menu section devoted to tapas! Flavorful Food is thoughtfully and beautifully prepared. The warm atmosphere is friendly and inviting. My friend ordered chicken and I had chile relleno. The beans & rice were delicious and delicately seasoned. The chicken chile relleno was smothered in tangy salsa verde and cooked perfectly. While I would have preferred larger pieces of chicken instead of shredded chicken, the dish worked. It's not spicy and not over salted. Felt full and satisfied. We will return to try more dishes.“
“I live for their queso. I no longer go there to just order one thing of queso to share as I have made a commitment in my life to order a queso for myself and let everyone else make the wild decision to share. The bacon wrapped shrimp is everything and I will be gracious enough to share this tip, that you can actually order more on the side, even though it is not on the menu to order like that.“
“I had a great experience and can't wait to come back to try more of the menu. The hibiscus mule was delicious, and the guac was clearly fresh made and really good. I sat at the bar for a while with some time to kill, so unfortunately I wasn't eating a full meal. It was mid-afternoon so I got to watch the bartender, who was lovely, juicing a bunch of fruits to use in the drinks. Love to see that! Service was fantastic, and the vibe is fun and cool. It's the perfect spot for a date, hang out at the bar for cocktails, or a meal with girlfriends. It's small and elevated fare, so no it's not the place for a huge group or giant portions.“
“Impressive tex mex / mexican is not something you ever hear but they pull it off! We've talked about coming for the 5 years we've been in the area and finally did today. Everything was incredible. Simple food done perfectly. I can't compliment this place enough with how spotless clean it was and the manager touching every table. You don't see that much anymore. I was a resaturant GM for 15 years and it's hard to impress me but the attention to detail in everything blew me away. Lightbulbs are a pet peeve of mine and 95% of resturants have atleast 1 but they didn't. Broken windows = broken business, and they understand what I mean. This place really knows what they are doing. I already texted 5 people to tell them they have to check it out.“
“Food was excellent. Salsa tasted very fresh. Guacamole was delicious. Steak burrito was so good!! Meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Very tender and flavorful. Servings were good size and prices more than fair for quality and quantity. Probably the best Tex-Mex I have had in the area.“
“Honestly my favorite Mexican restaurant in Maryland! The owner Fernando helped plan my sister's baby shower and he was so great in helping everything go smoothly. Not to mention their food is delicious. My husband is Mexican and their carne asada is legit! Tender with flavor and NOT chewy. Also their chicken tinga empanadas are the reason we drive 45 min from Baltimore to Picante. A must visit! The owner is usually at the bar and is so friendly! Gracias Fernando!Maggy Jesus y Sharell“
“Almost empty on a spring weeknight. My s-in-law's fajita dinner was huge and he especially enjoyed the carnitas. I thought my chicken taco and enchiladas were a little dry, but they came with plenty of rice and refried beans. The grandkids devoured their meals an I appreciated that small cones were included with their meal. Nonetheless, we ordered desert, which the six of us together could not finish. The bill came out to a very reasonable $100.“
“Went in on a recent Sunday at 3 pm when the restaurant wasn't busy. Tried 3 tacos, beef and chicken. Taco shells were soft and did not break except where you bite them. Generously stuffed with ingredients. Server was pleasantly not making lots of visits. Food was seasoned, but not super hot.“
“Birria tacos only on Sundays is a bummer but definitely worth the wait. Plenty of consomé for dipping. Much better carry out container than the styrofoam plate with foil on top you get a lot of places. Only downside is having to take it to go.“
“My wife and I were back in Annapolis for another overnight stay after moving nearly four years ago. After looking at its reviews, we decided to try El Toro Bravo II since it was close to our hotel and we were familiar with its sister restaurant on inner West Street. It’s in the building that used to be the French restaurant Les Folies. The atmosphere was typically Mexican with the decor and background music, and the service was exceptional. We were greeted immediately by the maitre d’, Jose Beltran, who personally escorted us to a good table and took our drink orders. Since I was driving, I ordered a Stella Artois Liberte, which was delivered promptly by our waiter Mauro, who poured it into a chilled glass, something I usually have to ask for.. When he noticed my wife adding ice from her water to her wine, he appeared with a glass full of ice. I ordered a special beef quesadilla dish recommended by Jose after listening to my preferences, and it was excellent. My wife had a taco salad, which was also very good. To finish, we shared a fried ice cream dessert, with cups of dark Colombian decaffeinated coffee, far richer than you get in most restaurants. We will be back on future visits.“
“The best burrito I have ever had! I always pass the truck and always see people there so I figured it must be good. Little did I know what I have been missing all along. I got the Al Pastor which can really get messed up easily but theirs was perfect. I can’t wait to go back!“
“This is a down-to-earth, working class sort of restaurant. The food struck me as being very authentic and generously portioned, but also of unfussy presentation on plastic plates. Most of the clients and all the staff were of Mexican or Central American background, so it's obviously great if you want an experience of honestly Mexican food, and beverages imported from Mexico. The prices were very moderate and the service was nice, and efficient. This small restaurant was pretty crowded for a Sunday afternoon, and the environment was noisy. Plenty of families and small children. I think readers will get the picture; if you enjoy that ambiance you may well find this place a preferred spot and a very good value for your dollar.“
“Both the service and food here are excellent. Everything came out rapidly and delicious, even though we were a party of ten. And the waitress was super nice and friendly. Never had to worry about a drink or chips running low the entire night. Excited to bring our group back again.“
“Very nice place. The food is delicious. A little bit pricey, but it’s so worth every penny. The service is great and the place is outstanding. It’s beautiful, very nice and great to take your date there. The entrance is a little bit hidden, so when you park try to see the tall walls of the entrance.“
“Always the best friendly service! Delicious food! We have tried many dishes from here and have never been disappointed. I love the fresh guacamole. Great casual spot with amazing food. I would recommend to anyone. Lovely family owned business that I love supporting. Thank you El Toro we love you!“
“Came here to visit Raul n Roxana, the sweetest people in the world. We wandered in on a night where a patron rep was engraving bottles for the tequila club. We enjoyed the shrimp ceviche, which was one of the best things we ate all night. The cheese dip and the guacamole were great too, not too salty for chips either. We had the mango marg, which was my absolute favorite drink I had last night! Just sweet enough! For dinner we had an assortment of enchiladas, pupusas, and fajitas. The plantains were amazing! Next time going to try the tamales!! Jake n kev“

“Mmmmm. Love the breakfast platter this place does. It's always super busy and you might feel like you've stepped out of the country when you come here, but that's part of the charm. They must do a pretty big take out business too, because I kept seeing Styrofoam boxes coming out of the kitchen, but that must be part of what slows the service down. I was pretty disappointed when I ordered a glass of milk and was told they couldn't serve it because "it isn't on the menu." But all these sins are forgiven when a big platter of tasty food show up in front of you.“
“Okay I really don't want to give a great review because the place is always packed. Lol. Honestly one of the best taco places I have ever been to. The Quesabrirria is a ton of food for the price. You will not be able to finish. The Gringa is also excellent.“
“I had a great time eating delicious food. The manager and staff were committed to great service and were very friendly. The atmosphere was awesome and clean, and I definitely like a very modern style, most important fast service and fresh food. RecommendVegetarian options: TofuKid-friendliness: Kids meal“
“A solid Mexican take-out place in the evening popped up at the morning Naval bagel shop which runs through a separate door as a separate business. I'll come back with an updated review after a few more visits. The service is very friendly, the place is clean, food was good. It's not over the top. I'd say it's a little better in terms of quality than a taco truck, but with higher prices and slightly smaller portions. It would be nice if the orders came with tortilla chips. It's mostly a takeout place, but there are a handful of stools to eat at the counter. They also have tables out front to enjoy if the weather is nice. I think you'll really like it. Especially if you don't visit taco trucks. The thing with taco trucks is the portions are typically huge but the meat quality varies greatly and they rarely speak English. So at el oso you can ask questions about your food and order it the way you like it. I'll be back on Wednesday to try the tamales!! I haven't tried the enchiladas but they look great.“
“Best burrito so far! Im a real customer who just had the Burrito Loco and hafta leave a review. The burrito was a generous size and densely packed from end to end with chicken, black beans, avacado etc. It was full of flavor and and delicious. Looking forward to coming here again.“
