Last week I went to Baltimore for the first time for a music camp. Brown Rice was recommended by other students at the camp who have loved for the past 3-4 years (they are from SC and very sophisticated palettes). We absolutely LOVED Brown Rice. This is a make your own bibimbap Korean restaurant located within Mt Vernon Marketplace. We came on a Sunday night and there was no line. It's set up in a similar way to Chipotle, where you pick a base, protein, veggies and sauce. This was my first time post COVID, mostly because they now close at 6. Wished I had ordered ahead. This is no longer fast food: it is made to order. Some of the previously available toppings are no longer available, others (broccoli, eggplant) are available at additional cost. Jasmine rice is no longer available as a base but the potato noodles were great. The food is still excellent.
