“This pour over was so fun. I did a custom Guatemalan with a chocolate stuffed donut and the way the flavors evolved as the drink cooled was really great. The staff were friendly and the other guests even recommended some other local spots that we loved. They very obviously care about quality and have spent time figuring out their brew. Would love to see some extra seating aside from the bar area for study or work, but it doesn't take away from what was an incredible cup of coffee (the donut was also remarkably great but definitely overshadowed by such interesting and well brewed coffee).“
“I stopped by yesterday after leaving the vet with my dog and my mom. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the very friendly staff. The cinnamon roll, confetti muffin, and iced coffee were great! My dog was also given a pup cup. I'm really excited for the weather to warm up so I can sit outside and enjoy their patio space. I can see myself stopping by more often in the future.“
“Not only is a really cute and quaint establishment with delicious dessert, but the owners are the sweetest!! The ice cream itself is quite delightful and the waffles are soft, yet crispy and the extra surprise that you get when you bite into each of the bubbles depending on what filling you get inside is what makes it such a unique dessert! Definitely recommend going there for any occasion, whether it be for a night out, a date, or just craving something sweet! Also an amazing choice to hire for your party!!“
“After walking by Buns & Roses multiple times and always wishing it was dessert time, we finally made it happen today and were rewarded with a uniquely delicious dessert and very friendly, welcoming service. As you might have guessed, the chimney cones themselves are the star of the show here and appear to be handcrafted with great attention to detail, with a marshmallow at the bottom to keep all the ice cream from dripping out.We definitely want to come back again - I would like to try the coated chimney cakes next time, and the apple dumpling sounds great, too.The owner/employees here are welcoming to everyone who comes by and very clearly care about their customers.“
“I went here on a Sunday around 3:30 and there was a small crowd. We were able to get our items quickly after we ordered though it took a little while to order. There is a window that you order from and there is one cashier to take the order. The customer service was great. I was able to try the ice cone flavors. There were so many flavors and combination of flavors to choose from. They also had other treats like benigets, brownies, and cakes. They had Takhara brothers ice cream and I'm a huge fan of their ice cream, so I was excited to get the key lime, but it head run out. The clerk offered me other options and told me about the mango, guava, pineapple ice topped with fruit, so I decided to try it. I am so glad that I did. It was really flavorful and refreshing. There was cute outdoor seating that was well maintained. I will most definitely come back here.“
“It's still really cool inside, booth style Markets. Many little tightly wound eating spots squished into a smaller space. Takes you back years . A neat own version of cross street market, Broadway Market etc.Parking: Parking is free on the lot. But however 2 hr time limit is enforced“
“This was the best food I have eaten in Baltimore in a long time! Absolutely authentic Greek Cuisine. Simple delicious salads Excellent octopus Great kabobs and tzatziki Friendly service. I just can’t say enough positive things about this place!“
“Really great service, a hipster vibe with tunes from late 80s to 2000s, and great coffee and food. Kid friendly.Kid-friendliness: Chill place where the staff know how to interact with kids. Not a "kid" place, but easy to dine in with our 2 and 9 year olds“
“Great place for pizza pickup. We ordered the spicy pepperoni, chicken, and half and half for take away. All were fantastic. The crust is a highlight, perfect mix of crispy, chewy, and char that rivals the best crust in the city. The pizza is pricy but well worth the cost.“
“1:39 4 ..ll 5G§ 83 < Reviews Koba Café First coffee shop of 2023! Koba is a cozy shop on the corner. The young lady at the counter was friendly. She was familiar with the two customers in front of me. It definitely had a neighborhood friendly vibe. The shop was busy. Most of the tables on the first floor were taken up when I was there. Be sure to take a stroll up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was an adorable little spot for two people to sit and chat. The second floor has a great little area to sit and ready or study. The top floor was full of light. I ordered my usual cortado. It was a solid drink. The cortado wasn't bad but it also wasn't anything spectacular to write home about.“
“Reddit said this was the best breakfast sandwich and they were not lying. The Cuban is terrific. Ham, swiss, eggs, pickles and dijonnaise. Also the staff was terrific. They put milk and sugar in my coffee for me which I think is a little thing but really appreciate. I wish it was closer to my house or my office but I will be back soon.As a side note, it's something about this particular neighborhood that I have been to three restaurants that were located inside older apartment buildings. It's a vibe up there.“
“It was adorable, and everyone was so very nice. I went with a few friends and to make sure they had accommodations for my mother. I am so excited that they do and i am going again in 3 weeks with my nieces and my mother! It was fun and we had to be kicked out because we DEF took advantage of the two hour policy! Thank you all for being so amazing! See you soon“
“The staff here is so kind, they have a really open space but few tables. The gelato is delicious however a regular (smallest size available) is a $7.50 which is a bit pricey for me. The location is ideal and they are open later on the weekends which a bonus.“
“I have been here a few times to work (wifi is great here!) and I really enjoy it! If you like cozy cafes, this should be on your list! Service is pretty good, sometimes people seem a little out of it but we're all human! The food is decent here (croissants muffins and what not), but the coffees/ drinks are where they shine the most! Not pictured is their amazing brown sugar espresso-- it was so good I ended up drinking it all before I could get a photo! Go order it-- asap you won't regret it!!Their cold brew is good- and strong! I added protein shake I brought with me for the day and they were great together. I love supporting black owned businesses and this place has a little something for everyone, so if you're in the area I'd defintely recommend.“
“Where We Bout To Eat AtTucked away down about 7 steps is @sophomorecoffeeWith great hot and cold beverages, tasty treats, and excellent customer service, there’s no better way to start your day!Check them out!!!#baltimorecoffee #baltimorecoffeeshops #baltimorelatte #coffeelovers #itsdgl #danigirlliving #boujiebudgetblogger #sipslow“
“I have loved every tea from Wight Tea Company, from their loose leaf to their matcha. Brittany is friendly and communicative, and when I ordered matcha for the first time I even got a discount card. I always enjoy shopping local and plan to continue buying my tea from this team. :)“
“The pastries all look so incredible but be prepared to pay quite a bit for them. The coffee and drinks are more reasonably priced so I’d recommend going there and just getting drinks and maybe splitting one of their pastries. They had a fair crowd on a Sunday morning but didn’t take too long to get our food and drinks. I see this more of a special occasion or date spot.“
“Have always loved this place! Great vibe, great coffee, and now also some good food! It was really bustling the most recent time I went, much more so than earlier when it opened in the pandemic, and also seems to have much more indoor and outdoor seating space than it used to have. I also love browsing among the items they sell - super interesting!!“
“Always amazing drinks (coffee and mango matcha smoothie are to die for!) and awesome food. I've had the caprese panini and shrimp and grits, and the bananas foster french toast. They never miss ?Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan optionsDietary restrictions: They are very accommodating with many of the dishes. They were willing to remove the bacon from the shrimp and grits to make it pescatarian.Kid-friendliness: There are always babies and kids here, it's a nice vibe.“
“Stumbled upon this shop after leaving the nail salon and so glad I did. I almost didn't want to write this review to keep this place to myself. It's a small and quiet coffee shop, which is exactly what I was looking for. It also has lots of plant supplies and plants. I'm not sure if the person working that day was the owner, he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products offered. He was patient with me as I decided on what to order and informed me that the coffee I chose was from Nepal. While I spent some time working, a few frequent customers came in and I only know this because the employee remembered their orders. There was also someone who came in about an issue they had with a product from the store and he exchanged it with no questions/charge. Bonus points for parking being easily available! I look forward to visiting again!“
“Great place with awesome food! The pizzas were absolutely delicious!! My co-workers & I super enjoyed it & the pizzas were only five dollars! What a steal. Thank you.Parking: Right across from courthouse & sits on a big open lot for plenty of space for parking.“
“A little disappointed this time around.I ordered the Brie and ham cheese and a latte. Their coffee hits the spot every time. But I just paid $9 for something a mom makes for her kids lunch. (I mean no offense)And the amount of Brie is very little, at least spread it around.I also waited like, 10min after ordering for “the bread to be toasted”. My sandwich did not see an oven, it’s straight out of the bread bag.Sauce was good, but overall meh. Not worth $9.I’ll continue to come here for coffee, latte was awesome.Update 2/18/24:Coffee is perfect as usual, got the hot honey chicken sandwich which is pretty good. Wish there was a bit more honey or more spice to it but nonetheless it’s good.Owners were quick to the draw to help me figure out what to do about my last order, and I am super appreciative of them.“
“Loved it, great little cafe with a very chill atmosphere. Friendly and patient staff. A large amount of vegan options which is always appreciated.Vegetarian options: I can't speak to everything, but I had a vegan egg and cheese bagel sandwich that was amazing.“
“I come here for taiyaki! Their oreo and cannoli cream one are so good. They even serve boba tea! Dairy and non dairy. The young lady in there is very friendly and helpful. She has successfully helped me try new things and explained them to me every time I go.“
“Food and service are all impeccable, but I really have to hand it to them, the atmosphere here is on point. I feel like I'm in the Twin Peaks diner whenever I'm there eating pie and sipping on coffee. It's homey, it's cozy, it feels like a staple of the community with the dog treats and local coffee. I wish they had more flexible hours, because I usually can't stop in after work. However, as Saturday morning treat, there's no where better to get savory and sweet pies.“
“This is the first coffee shop I’ve been to thats given me my coffee in an actual cup (as opposed to a to-go cup) in what feels like years. I forgot how nice that is, and was reminded the second they brought it to me lol. All in all the coffee was good, the music is a really nice volume and is good music, its not super crowded. I will come back!“
“This place has a great atmosphere. I didn’t try any food options, but the drinks were great! I loved my hot chocolate, and my friend had a wonderful coffee. It was a great place to work as well- accessible seating and outlets were available. The staff was friendly and helpful.“
“One of my favorite coffee brands period. I LOVE Ceremony Coffee. Their Thesis, Antithesis, and Mass Appeal blends — YES. I enjoy coming here to enjoy an iced Mocha latte with Almond milk. I’ve heard excellent things about their pour overs, although I’ve not tried it myself. Their pastries are also quite tasty. They host fun events like latte art showdowns, sensory experiences, and the like.“
“A wonderful roasting business with friendly staff and delicious coffee. I get their coffee every Sunday at Mt. Washington Farmers Market. They’ve taught me so much about coffee varieties. When I buy whole bean, it’s Dear Globe. Amazing people.“
“Love the ambience in the morning! Delicious food! I loved the avocado toast! With a side of bacon!! Kate was the best with her recommendations of chocolate latte! And the donuts and croissants were fabulous!!! Paired with a chocolate martini!!! Good morning Baltimore!!!! Fabulous customer service!!“
“I love this place. I usually get my signature Iced vanilla chai latte w/ almond milk and it's sooo good. the almond milk they use is great. My only complaint is there's rarely ever any snickerdoodle muffins. I've come a handful of times and 2 times were the only chance I was able to get my hands on one. I would say maybe make more if they're so popular or make more at two separate times. I usually don't get a chance to go during weekdays and only weekends and never get them on weekends. But lovely place a staff (:“
“Groovy food hall(ish) place. Atwaters is generally my go to, but I have picked up exotic chocolates and a seafood club sandwich (hard to stop eating it long enough to wipe my lips with a napkin). Cell service is a little funky, but they have free wifi just in case.“
“Found this place when I moved to Baltimore, by far the best coffee, I only buy a pound every 2 weeks, haven't tried anything else. Like the fact it's local and freshly roasted here, why pay less at Costco for old tasteless coffe , for few bucks more you get the best✌“
“I lucked out. I meant only to “grab a cup of coffee” this morning casually on the way to Baltimore’s Penn Station to head home to nyc and lucky me for heading here. Good coffee, yes, yummy grits with cheese (my daughter had the tomato soup and grilled cheese) , relaxed homey elevated atmosphere with aninstallation of African textiles, patterns, color, and more. Also the adjoining gallery of MICA senior work was invigorating, inspiring.Thank you! …. Hope to be back !“
“I went to the Starbucks today about 7 I usually don’t Starbucks but my niece want something from there. We both other wrong thing they was so understanding I Loved it made want to return ‼️Keep up the Great Job ? Customer Service was above it all❤️“
“Been here a few times and while the food and drinks are good, the service disappoints. OneDo never seems to open on time during the week. I’ve tried going before twice within the last month and had to walk away because they weren’t open during the hours that were posted on the door.“
“I love The Avenue Bakery's warm atmosphere , friendly staff and the delightful smell of fresh baked delicious treats. My family and I are always pleased with everything we purchase especially the sweet potato pies, bread pudding and wheat rolls all are outstanding !!“
“This fast casual cafe serves delicious sandwiches. It was the perfect spot for my post workout breakfast. The tidy, clean interior, has lots of natural light inside. You can also eat outside on the covered patio. SERVICE: Quick service, the staff knows the menu, and will give you recommendations. After ordering, you are given a number for your table and your food is brought to you. Unless you order a beverage there is a self serve water station beside the register. FOOD: MY SANDWICH: salmon bacon avocado Brioche bun, grilled salmon, applewood bacon mixed greens layered on sliced Avocado. On the side: green goddess dressing and pickles. YUM. I also ordered an iced coffee with lavender syrup. The coffee was great but I couldn't taste the lavender. Note: When you finish eating, please toss your trash and return your dishes to the designated bins.“
“On the hill is my favorite coffee shop in Baltimore. Food & drinks are consistently good and reasonably priced. You can't beat $6.50 for a bacon egg & cheese bagel. They have online ordering which makes it super convenient to order coffee on my way to work. They also have those cane sugar sodas on draft which are so good if you are going on a coffee break, I don't know where else you can get a fountain cream soda.“
“I’ve been in town for a few months & I come to this starbucks atleast every other day & the energy is amazing the people are awesome & always helpful , if you’re in the area or visiting I definitely recommend 5/5 stars⭐️“
“I love coming here to grab a bite, enjoy a coffee, and get some work done. There are a good number of outlets, so you can use laptops. Weekdays tend to be much lighter than the busier weekends. The food really is fantastic, with lots of good healthy options. I love the build your own bowl with spicy garlic chicken over chopped super greens.“
“Incredible little spot with great coffee. The owner is the one making your coffee and roasting your beans right there in front of you. Very friendly and comfortable environment. I asked for beans that weren't roasted yet and the owner allowed me to schedule a time that was convenient for me to come back and pick up my beans. VERY happy I found this place on my trip to Baltimore and I will certainly be going back next time I'm in the area!“
“This is one of the best Dunkins I have ever been to. The workers are very kind and quick to make my orders, and it’s a nice atmosphere for me and my friends to hang out in after school. The manager is very kind and has very good customer service skills!“
“First time eating here, and would definitely return.Restaurant was clean, and smelled delicious, and staff were pleasant. You can either order your food at the counter or use the screens to order independently.I ordered the taco platter (1 shrimp and 2 fish, all on corn tortillas). Portions were filling, and the food was flavorful. I really enjoyed that side of raddish, it was sort of pickled and spicy.I did take out, and it was a prepared timely, so I didn't have to use my whole lunch break!“
“The Nickelodeon TV show Henry danger brought me here. I’ve been watching it a lot and from the looks of it shows the outside, which is really cool if you ever get a chance, watch Henry danger and you’ll see the exterior shot of This restaurant it’s pretty amazing I want to check out this coffee shop someday if I do go to this place it looks pretty nice and it looks pretty amazing“
“Coffee here is always great (overpriced like the rest of them, but great). But let's get into the customer service!!! I will certainly return here for the barista, Charlie. He was hilarious, warm, engaging, informative, everything you want in a barista. It really felt like family the minute we walked in, so I will be back!!Also, they had some fun and witty holiday drinks that were delicious!! "Gettin Figgy With It" "Who Let the Nog Out," and "Glen Coco" were our favs.“
“My first experience was enchanting, ambient lighting, relaxing atmosphere with only hand crafted delectable eats! The Honey Macchiato & Granny Turnover hit the late night slightly sweet and comforting craving. Definitely recommend anybody that hasn’t been to go have The Bun Shop Experience. The owner was pleasant and very helpful in navigating the menu pairings!“
“We're from out of town visiting friends who live in the area. I was craving a burger and our friends said "gotta go to Johnny's". They were right. It was a great burger. And it was a Tuesday night so they were half price. What a deal! Perfectly cooked and well seasoned. And the fries were delicious too. Service was good and the restaurant had a very nice ambiance. Patio seating, too.“
“If you want a great cup of coffee, this is it. The owner roasts Ethiopian beans in house and serves the coffee from a French press. The latest cation is in the heart of Locust Point. There’s outdoor seating that is welcoming to anyone who wants to slow down and enjoy the richness of their cup of coffee.“
“We LOOOVE this restaurant! Not only delicious, but oh so much staff personality. Get Nico to create one of his over-the-top boozy concoctions for you. Then indulge in the Italian-crafted meat and cheese board (Salumi Misti). And do not miss the rosemary-marinated steak or the slow-roasted pork. Oh yeah, you’ll feel the LOOOVE, too!“
