I got a cheddar chive scone and an iced coffee. Scone was baking soda/flour forward. Thought coffee might redeem it and it just wasn’t my cup of tea. It was watered down like they pour hot coffee over ice. They let dogs inside without issue, personally not a fan. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, I think it just isn’t for me.

Excellent coffee in a fun space. But there's a constant cavalcade of dogs coming in and out. Avoid if you have allergies.

Just came for a black coffee to go, nothing fancy, but that liquid was just incredible. Good vibes too.

A coffee shop near the inner harbor.
I went to this place because it had good ratings, and the staff is very friendly. There was also a little fun in matching the cup holder color.

There are shared offices next to the cafe, and it was convenient to use the restroom freely. The inside of the store was full of people who were presumed to be locals.

The cappuccino was nutty, so I asked if I could change it to lactose-free, so I changed it to oatmeal milk. The pitfall was that it only tasted like real oatmeal, but it was a pleasant coffee shop.

Parking is not available, so you must use a nearby street parking lot.

Morning Mugs is one of my favorite cafes in of Baltimore. The baristas are super friendly and chipper and are shining examples of how attentive and friendly employees can make or break experiences, which I think is essential in a neighborhood cafe. The seating is a bit cramped inside in the cold months but with the garage doors open, this place is a total vibe. The "guess the color" game is fun little addition and they have nice seasonal drinks, even if I generally prefer classic espresso options. I prefer strong/intense coffee taste and this isn't really the place for that, but the beans are still good quality. I have a very high caffeine tolerance but a large latte from Morning Mugs gets me through the day, so shoutout to them for that. The muffins are okay but better than average.

I fly in to Baltimore off a red eye and the staff/food/coffee were all amazing for a weary traveler. 10/10, could not recommend enough.

The barista was fantastic and recommended an amazing drink - cinnamon marshmallow latte. It was one of the best I’ve had in a while, and I used to be a barista! Great vibe and cool little neighborhood.

Hip, trendy, other buzzwords! The feel of this place is straight out of a west coast beach town. Chill vibes and open air seating make it perfect the perfect setting to slow down and enjoy your cup of coffee or one of their specialty drinks. I highly recommend the matcha lemonade but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Food poisoning: Got a regular iced latte + an iced oat milk dirty chai w/croissant + blueberry muffin. The pastries tasted stale, but I used to work in the coffee industry and sometimes putting day old stuff in the fridge just can't shake that taste- nbd, but the real issue is how sick I got (n/v/d) very soon after. This is the only place I ate from all day.

I can't help but suspect the swarm of dogs by the coffee bar might have something to do with the lapse in sanitation.

I'm a dog lover, I have a pooch of my own, but I honestly could not get through the main door because of how many there were (note: this wasn't a pup event- these seem like regulars). Dogs are great- they don't belong near places where food is being served.

Overall ambience was cute + baristas friendly.

My friend invited me to his favorite coffee spot and I can see why he likes it so much. Amazing staff and service, dog friendly, great coffee and breakfast sweets (we shared a vegan blueberry scone), and a cute idea of guessing the color of your coffee sleeve for a 10% coupon off your next visit. Can't wait to visit again!

Best coffee in the city. I’m not in Baltimore often, but I always make a point to come here. Awesome vibes and great coffee.

My mother absolutely loved the blueberry muffin I got here. She’s not a coffee fan.

This is my new favorite spot. The seasonal drinks are fantastic! I am drinking an iced Lavender Lotus Chai latte right now and really loved the Matcha Lemonade I had before. The normal coffee options are wonderful as well. They have muffins and scones too and I have had several of them with the cran apple or the chocolate chip banana muffins being my favorite!!! The best thing though is the friendly service.

Fun little spot with lots of plugs! I didn't like the toasted marshmallow latte, but my friends said it was the best coffee of the 5 places we visited over our trip. They know more about coffee than me, so I'd take their word for it. They also did a fun guessing game for every purchase where you can get 10% off of you guess right. Really great service and vibe.
