I recently visited this establishment. I ordered the fish dinner (whitting) with yams and potatoe salad. Everything was good definitely the potatoes salad which surprised me because I had stopped eating it years ago. I can't wait until they open so I can run it back.
The rotisserie chicken was good, tender juicy and flavorful, but the piece was small for the price in my opinion (I got quarter dinner) maybe it’s inflation idk. The sides were just okay. Mac n cheese a tad bland almost taste/texture like box mac cheese but a little better. Yams were good but overpowered with nutmeg or something. I would go back for the meat only. Took the toddler grands for lunch. We got A LOT of food for our money. The mac and cheese alone is worth the visit. Chicken was as good as I've had. I got the breast quarter plate. I wanna probably get a leg quarter next time. Sweet potato and muffin combine to make a serious sweet potato pie in your mouth. Owner and staff were great. Relaxed vibe Small place, two booths and counter seating. We took home leftovers, and they went quick!
