Written by a Peruvian who is often in LA, NYC, DC, MIA. Trust me, I (and many Peruvians) hunt excellent Peruvian food wherever we go. Our gastronomy is becoming world-renowned (yaay) and so some (!) are trying to cash in and provide sub-par/tasteless/bland stuff and try and sell it as “Peruvian” food. My wife and I drove up to Baltimore to tour the Peruvian Navy tall ship B.A.P. Union docked on Light Street. Afterwards we found this restaurant via simple phone search and what a wonderful experience it turned out to be. We did not know they require a reservation when we showed up at the door but they were kind enough to find us a spot. Thanks to Chef Jose and his crew for a delightful evening.
