If you’re looking for a quick lunch, go somewhere else. That said this is a true gem.The service is impeccable and the food is some of the best Thai food I have ever had.I highly recommend the masaman curry with shrimp. It was great.Lunch portions seem to be a little small compared to the dinner portions, but they are less expensive. Tip was automatically added even with a small party. I tried this place randomly on a weekend lunch date. This place has been here for years. This place has been here longer than I've been alive and I think the same people have ran it. The food was very good. I also had a Thai tea which was delish. The papaya salad was spicy and fresh.
SO GLAD to hear that they're reopening... Thai Restaurant was forced to vacate it's location in December, 2023.... to reopen later in 2024 on the corner of East 31st Street and Greenmount Avenue!
