Tried this place for the first time. Someone gave a rave review on Facebook. We had the j*** chicken wings and the dark meat curry chicken roti with channa. I must say that the food was flavorful and the portion size was outrageous. I've been looking for a place that serves true roti and I think I found the right place. I will be back to try some other favorites.
THE FLAVORS IS THERE!! IM ORIGINALLY FROM NY AND IT FELT LIKE I WAS HOME FOR A QUICK SECOND. THEN I LEFT MY DOUBLES TO THE SIDE FORM A FEW AND IT GOT HARD AS A ROCK WHICH MEANS IN WAS MICROWAVED.. I'VE HAD DOUBLES IN MY HOME FOR HOURS!!! AND ITS DOESN'T GET SOGGY OR HARD! NOW IM NOT MAD AT THE TASTE OF BUT GOSH DARNIT SOME THINGS CANT BE SAVED FROM THE DAY BEFORE AND PLEASE DONT TRY TO DENY IT. WHEN YOU KNOW YOU KNOW
BEST CARIBBEAN FOOD IN DMV. Honestly I'm obsessed, my family is from Trinidad and I've never had a place in md that tasted more authentic than this. Roti is perfection. recommended!!!!
