A hidden staple of Bethesda, this place has been here for years. While I love Tastee Diner for late nights, the quality of the food is so much better at The Original Pancake House, so for breakfast/brunch, there is no question it's thd OPH!Vegetarian options: Offers egg dishes, fried potatoes, and other vegetarian breakfast fare.Kid-friendliness: It's a diner atmosphere.

This is my second time visiting the Original Pancake House.The first time the service wasn't the greatest, and we were outside.The weather is a bit more chilly now, so when trying it this time we made sure we stayed inside.Walking in, my friends and I were greeted immediately and were seated. Amazing breakfast food. I have not had a bad thing there and the prices are affordable too! Parking is free if you get into the Bethesda Place parking garage. You just need to scan your ticket at the restaurant.Parking: They will validate the Bethesda Place parking garage for 2 & 1/2 hours. Anywhere else and you'll have to pay.Kid-friendliness: They had high chairs available
