“I recently visited Honey Bun Cake Factory and was blown away by their delicious cakes. I tried the Snickerdoodle Cake, Rum Cake, and Honey Bun Cake, and each one was absolutely amazing. The Snickerdoodle Cake was rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of cinnamon and sweetness. The Rum Cake was moist and had a wonderful rum flavor that wasn't overpowering. The Honey Bun Cake was a true standout, with layers of moist cake and a delicious honey glaze. The cakes were beautifully decorated and tasted like a homemade delicacy. The staff was friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall great experience. I highly recommend Honey Bun Cake Factory for anyone looking for delicious, high-quality cakes.Parking: Parking is available outside of the restaurant but it’s street parking. There are other parking spots away from the street but limited.”

“Growing up in the area this place has been a treat for our family. Good memories here. Years ago, pre-pandemmy when the dining room was open, I used to go here with my pops on occasion. If you get your chicken hot and fresh it's CRISPY and nothing has ever come close to how good it is. The lady who helps you when you pick up a carry-out order is so sweet. Please tip her!! If you like General Tsos but want to branch out, get the sesame beef. It's my favorite dish. Panda Xpress' crab rangoons do not stand a CHANCE against Golden Star's cheese wontons. “There was 3 (three) young ladies working behind the counter and each one was smiling, courteous and friendly! They worked as a team and the line moved very smoothly. I was in and out in no time. The store was well kept, neat and clean. This was one of the nicer subways I have been to.”

“This was my first time back to a KFC in well over 20 years. The service was prompt and my cashier was polite (+). There were a lot of employees on hand, one of which was actively cleaning (++).I ordered the Famous Bowl. It was a bit skimpy on the chicken, but otherwise I enjoyed it.My one real critique is the need for some deep cleaning in the lobby. It was evident that the floor had a layer of oil on it that made it quite slippery. I adopted the senior shuffle so my feet would stay beneath me. As I was leaving, I noticed the doors, especially at the bottom, need to be cleaned. A good scrubbing would take care of both the floors and doors. I didn't look around for other areas needing attention, but overall the lobby wasn't to bad.”

She goes above and beyond when my kids order frozen drinks by making them nice, neat and colorful. We went ahead and checked it out for breakfast since it wasn't quite lunchtime - the food taste and quality was amazing! We had a egg and cheese on a bagel, a breakfast burrito, and a smoothie.The service is fantastic, everyone working behind the counter is so friendly.The food was prepared quickly and was hot and fresh. They also offer smoothies, assorted beverages, coffee, espresso drinks, and even have beers and sake. The atmosphere is like a really cute little deli with a few tables and a sushi bar.The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions, we're definitely planning to come back for breakfast sometime and want to try their Japanese lunch options. Tofu is an option for lots of the dishes that would normally have meat, and many of the curries don't have meat either.”

“I’ll start by saying Il Gusto Ristorante is the best restaurant in the county. It’s a small, intimate gem tucked away in La Plata. They make their pasta fresh and it’s evident that they care about what they’re plating. The dishes are traditional Italian, so if pasta’s not what you’re craving, there are a number of other dishes to try. The staff is superb and is one of the reasons we’ll be returning. Ricardo is worth the trip; he’s enthusiastic about the food, describing everything on the menu and making you feel as if you are his top priority. The meal is delivered at a nice pace, giving you time to chat and really appreciate each dish. I had the lasagna; it was perfectly flavored and better than any I’ve ever had. Our table also had a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon which paired nicely with our meal. I’m looking forward to returning in the near future and will be recommending this restaurant to all my friends and family.”

“Well ever since I moved to Maryland. I have not found a most unique, and out of area diner, restaurant, or just wonderful place to get fantastic food. It can be breakfast lunch, or dinner I believe you can get, but it's the best of the best outside of N.Y .N.Y.”

“Such a nice ambiance. Servers were attentive and food came quickly. There was so many pastas to choose from there's definitely something for everybody. I kinda got decision paralysis from the options but I got the squid ink pasta (spaghetti Neri) and loved it. I think it tasted the best out of our group's dishes and was complex and delicious although the tagliolini Al funghi was a close second. My partner got the short rib ravioli and we both didn't really like it. It was quite salty in some bites and lacked savory-ness in others. We didn't get to try appetizers or try the cheese wheel as we went on a Tuesday but will definitely come back to try those ! Overall we had a great time. Also for parking there's free parking in the garage and this place is located in the hotel.”
