Very decent buffet, good selection and most of them are tasty. staff is somewhat okay, not interested in service. Place needs to improve a lot on cleaning. Dirty tables, dirty chairs, uncleaned floor and horrible restrooms.

I cant believe i am saying this but the best biryani that i had. It’s comparable to Dallas/ NJ. The Taste/Quality were great. I ordered Chicken Dum Biryani with Persis Chicken. Persis chicken was very okay in terms of taste as it was pretty dry without much flavour but Biryani was flavorful and quantity was good enough for 2

The dining experience was superb! Every dish I tried was delicious, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it. Don't miss the goat dum biryani, Bihari chicken kabab, and chicken Manchuria – they're outstanding!

Disappointing Experience at Persis Biryani Indian Grill: Decline in Food Quality and Poor Service Despite Previous PatronageAs a loyal customer who has frequented Persis Biryani Indian Grill and enjoyed their dishes on multiple occasions, I am particularly disheartened by my recent experience. Two years ago, I left a glowing review, commending the establishment for its pleasant ambiance and delectable cuisine. However, today's encounter paints a starkly different picture.Having previously enjoyed their chicken lollipop and chicken majestic, I ordered these dishes with high expectations. Unfortunately, what I received was far from satisfactory. The chicken lollipop, a dish I had enjoyed in the past, appeared to have been prepared long ago and simply reheated, resulting in an unappetizing, tough texture. Despite my repeated attempts, I found it nearly impossible to consume.Furthermore, despite my specific request for a medium level of spiciness in the chicken majestic, the dish arrived devoid of any discernible heat. This departure from the quality and flavor I had come to expect was deeply disappointing.When I reached out to Persis Biryani Indian Grill to express my concerns and request a refund, I was met with dismissive responses. Despite my status as a returning customer who has brought these dishes from their establishment several times before, the staff member I spoke with showed little regard for my feedback, insisting that this was the standard preparation.As someone who had previously praised their establishment and recommended it to others, I am deeply disappointed by this decline in both food quality and customer service. I urge Persis Biryani Indian Grill to reconsider their approach to food preparation and customer satisfaction in order to regain the trust and loyalty of their patrons. Until then, I regret to say that I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to others.

I only get paneer biryani from and I enjoy that every time I get.
This is a pretty good Indian restaurant to go, however, do *NOT* tip the employees (cash or credit). The owner takes *all* tips - yes, it’s illegal, but I doubt they care. I heard this directly from multiple UMBC students who used to work here. Only the desperate students work here, and you can see this in the level of service you get.Overall, the food is amazing and I’ll continue ordering food for takeout.

Having the $22 lunch buffet was really nice. They had good food for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. I loved the goat biryani, karampodi chicken, and fish fry. The buffet had a good mix of veg and non-veg options.
