“Absolutely delicious!!!! You will miss this gem if you don't look carefully...you go in through the back...when we walked eyes were on us because it was all Asian customers and they thought we were door dash ! We told them we would like to be seated, they said sit anywhere. We saw some amazing meals coming out the kitchen that I asked the server what somebody else had and that's what I ordered without disappointment!!! Deliciousness is all I can describe it as!!! The wife ordered Singapore noodles which she loved...this is one of the best Asian food spot I've had since coming to md! Give it a try and remember I told you so!!”
“This place is getting it's act together! I recently had a great Mushroom Swiss Burger. The manager (who waited on us) was accommodating and efficient. Next time I'll give the pizza another try...”
“COME HERE, NOW!!!!!!This pho shop has one of the most tastiest noodles I’ve ever experienced. The staff are very nice and can speak many languages! Here’s some context, my parents are Vietnamese and can’t even speak English properly. The lady in the counter was able to speak to them in Vietnamese!!! Furthermore they also have Spanish speakers who work inside. I believe there’s also a man working there who speaks pretty nice Mandarin. I love the diversity they have, makes the place feel like home and comfort.”
“Everything at Menya is completely mind-blowing and it's the best ramen I've had outside of Japan. It's a little hard to visit here especially with their hours but every time I can make the trip over to DC I always make an effort to come here. Their food stays consistent and service is incredible. It's amazing to watch how in synch the entire team is and they have an open kitchen where you can watch the staff make the endless bowls of ramen! The karaage is a MUST-TRY it's so incredibly crispy on the outside but perfectly juicy on the inside. It's also paired with a yuzu dipping sauce and it brings the chicken to a whole other level, 10/10. My favorite ramen is the Spicy Tonkotsu because it includes a house made chili spice that really brings a nice kick to their traditional Tonkotsu broth. You really can't go wrong with anything on their menu because each type of ramen is so incredible in its depth of flavor.”
“Truly love this place. Recommend sitting at the bar and doing the wine pairing with dinner. Kyle (the bartender) is your go to person - he did a phenomenal job with the menu/ pairings. Love the food, wine, and experience!”
“Buzzy place, quite busy for Sunday brunch. The cronut was fresh and delicious. The gravlax mezze plate was unusual which is why I ordered it. The food was good. But the music blasting spoiled the experience for me - and I was solo so wasn't trying to chat, which would have been impossible to hear anything!”
“The food was good, but definitely not worth $57 a person on a Thursday night….We ordered four dishes (fermented cabbage toast, arancini, thai fried chicken, and scallop crudo) and had a drink each. Portions were small, even the “entrees.” Will not go back anytime soon for dinner. Our waiter was very nice though.*Came back over a year later for dinner because of an InKind Coupon. The $50 off $50 made the meal more worth it. But still expensive for what youre getting.”
“Avital was an amazing server! She was attentive to everything. She checked on us frequently and when I shared that we wanted to get in the road quickly after we ate she was right back with the check. I would keep coming back if I lived closer!!”
“I chose this establishment for my first Thai food experience, I had drunken noodles, egg rolls and Crab Rangoon. Everything was delicious and I’ll be making a return trip for sure.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options on the menu and the waitress will also ask if you would like it vegetarian.”
“Absolutely loved this place! The authentic decor and wonderful staff made it so memorable. The food we had were beyond amazing. Highly recommend the laghman noodles, the goshnan & midye baklava. The lamb was cooked very well here.”
“I hadn’t been here in years since they changed ownership. Looking at some of the reviews I was leery. Boy am I glad that I didn’t listen. Went here for dinner last night and everything was absolutely delicious. The fried chicken, fried catfish, lambs, crab cakes and sides of Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, collards, potato salad, and corn bread were all superb. It definitely tasted like eating at your grandmothers. The potato salad was just like my Gma’s; finely diced with celery, celery seed, and a slight tang of mustard accompanied by a slight sweetness. The collards are vegan hence no meat but were still delicious, tender, and flavorful. The drinks were delicious as well. The portion sizes were quite large with everyone having leftovers except for the lamb chops they were so delicious that my friend ate all of them. Matter of fact when she accidentally attempted to cut them with the wrong side of the knife it still went through. Couldn’t recommend more supporting this black owned business.”
“Good food, good drinks. I love coming here when the weather is nice and sitting on the patio. It's a nice low key neighborhood spot. When you don't feel like cooking but you don't want to step all the way out.”
“The most deliciously innovative meal that we’ve experienced within memory. Modern, Greek-accented food, elevated by sophisticated yet subtle use of herbs, spices, dressings and sauces. The menu contains numerous vegetarian offerings, although carnivores will also be happy. Excellent cocktails and drinks, attractive setting, efficient and pleasant service. The sole disappointment: noise. If you’re not enamored with loud acoustics, try to reserve a more quiet booth or visit during off-peak hours.***DETAILS: I was very skeptical about booking at Melina because the menu appeared complex and fussy. My concern was that the results would be discordant and underwhelming. Happily, I was dead wrong. Melina’s chef is one of those rare souls capable of orchestrating a symphony of flavors for the palate. We loved our charred baby gem salad (enhanced by its light and sprightly dressing); the squash app (brightly and unexpectedly accented with pear, black garlic and fried kale), the portobello main (deep-flavored and satisfying) and the lamb neck (generous and succulent.) The bougatso dessert, capped with a remarkably smooth Greek brandy, offered a celebratory ending. Looking forward to returning.”
“The food was absolutely delicious with perfectly paired flavors and spices!! The plating of everything was perfect and pleasing to the eyes Our service was excellent and we cannot wait to visit again!!”
“Our family loves Taipei Tokyo's food. We always use curbside pickup and have never been disappointed. Quick service, discounts, delicious food and a huge selection of dishes. We recently placed an order for eight people and they all enjoyed their dinners very much!”
“Cool restaurant with fresh, creative Mexican food. Wide variety of vegetarian and meat options. Friendly service. I couldn’t find anywhere to park and parked a ten minute walk away. Maybe there’s somewhere closer that I don’t know about. The new salad was super good and the pasole was good too.”
“Only the highest quality pastries from here! They also try some unusual flavors and textures to make the pastries unique as well. Prices reflect this though. Did I pay $7 for a danish? Yes. Have I ever had a danish like that before ? No! (In a good way) Caramelized onions and basil in a cheese danish that’s also perfectly flaky? I’ll pay the $7”
“Some of the best Ethiopian food I've had! The owner is so sweet and took such great care of us. Highly recommend the samosas, lamb, veggie combo with injera. Finish the meal off with traditional Ethiopian coffee you'll be so happy and satisfied. 10/10 would recommend. I'll be coming back the next time I'm in the DC/Silver Spring area!”
“The food was really good. They provide big portions. I ate half of the Apollo grain bowl and saved the rest. The amount of food you receive and the quality of the food is worth the price. Each dish seems pretty customizable. I will definitely stop by again to try other items. The parking situation isn't great.”
“We LOVE The Parkway Deli we love the servers. We always get to sit with anyone we ask for. We enjoy the pickle bar. My dad loved this restaurant!Dietary restrictions: They are happy to accommodate my dietary needs.”
“This is intelligent and well thought-out food that is delivered with kindness and engagement. Truffle dumplings with a corn foam were genius. Terrific vegetarian drunken noodles. And silken tofu in a complex fermented black-bean broth that made me see through time. My wife's cocktail had a tiny touch of a Chinese cough syrup in it, which sounds funky and was, instead, kinda transcendent! We sat at the bar and watched the passionate precision of the kitchen. Bartender was super friendly. Great evening that we hope to repeat soon. Keep up the great work!!”
“I can’t even explain itso you have to stop by and try for your selfYou won’t regret itJust go try and thank me laterGreat food great drinks great prices great service that’s all I can say.”
“Delhi Spice is one of the best Indian restaurants in the DC area. Definitely try their tandoori wings, some of the most tender flavorful wings I’ve ever tried. The owner and manager Sudhir is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet. Highly recommend stopping by!”
“I went with a table of 8 during Labor Day weekend and ate family style. We absolutely loved the food above all but also the service and atmosphere. The staff was great at communication re: our reservations. Thank you!”
“Shout out to Jordan G. He took my large order. A side & kids meal got omitted. Went back the next day. It was SUPER BUSY but he was very courteous and quickly made the items. For some reason their mac & cheese has never been on point. Most other dishes are very good. Staff are friendly. Go when it's not busy.”
“I love this bakery! It’s so nice to have a menu filled with delicious GF choices in one place. The owner is delightful and very eager to please his customers. I will be a regular from now on!Check this place out!!!”
“Great food, super cute and chic ambiance, and easy, prompt service. The menu has all the classics of an upscale Italian restaurant and the flavors + portions don't disappoint! I had the Burrata, the mushroom pasta, and the broccolini - all were well prepared and delicious. The price point is certainly on the higher side but nonetheless it's a cute and cosy spot that I hope to be back to soon. Glad to have this option in the neighborhood!”
“Pesto Pizza - Ahh, can't get beyond it. A perfect basilly flavor, just right cheese, enough crunchy pine nuts to enhance the flavor. And with the best ginger soda in the area. The red pizzas are great too, but the pesto is the best of its kind. A well curated, short list of beers and hand made sodas. I plan events in Kensington to Fankly's limited hours.Parking: Parking is very limited in front of Frankly and on the street. Follow signs to public parking.”
“Takoyaki is delicious. The original ramen broth is somehow too thick and oily and only tastes is salt. The restaurant is clean with a pleasant atmosphere. The host is nice and ”
“Fantastic sushi tucked away in an unassuming strip mall. I’ve been a couple times because there are so many appealing sushi rolls and they have all been fantastic. The fish is fresh, the proportions are good. I’d avoid the cocktails, they are underwhelming. They can be slow when busy but that should be expected when sushi is being made to order.”
