We recently visited this overlooked gem of a restaurant. The dishes we had (both regular and vegetarian) were well spiced but not overly hot. While called China Chef, the restaurant offers many non-Chinese items, such as Pad Thai, Sushi and Sashimi. Recently had first-time, carry out from Peking Chef and highly recommend the Shrimp Pad Thai!! It was flavorful and delicious! Also had the combo fried rice and shrimp lo mein that were fabulous. Located just off Cedar Lane west of Columbia, the restaurant looked authentic and well decorated, but it was empty on a weekend night. My family is making plans to enjoy a sit down meal to see what other delightful dishes we can have for dinner!

My wife loves the beef chow foon. The noodles are always smooth, soft, and savory and the beef used is so tender that it practically melts in your mouth. We highly recommend trying them! Just be sure to eat them fresh as that's when they taste the best!
