“Not many South Indian bakeries around so just having one available is great. It is a miracle if you get proper service or any one acknowledges your presence when you enter. You have a better chance of winning a lottery than the service staff make eye contact while ordering. Their everyday special items are great. Cake is good as well. Eggless cake options for vegetarians are available. It will take twice the amount of time than you expect for any order and the cake orders are guaranteed to be frustrating but yet it's not like we have any other choice. Would I go again? Of course! Will they make eye contact? Of course not!Vegetarian options: Eggless cakes, samosas,Parking: 30Kid-friendliness: Lots of deserts“
“Food was excellent. Signature chicken was really good, shrimp curry was great too. Chicken biriyani was great and fish curry was okay. Service was excellent and the owner was very respectful and friendly. Atmosphere could be better but if you are getting take out as many people do, then it doesn’t matter much. Overall the dinner was great and would recommend!“
“I never leave reviews but have to for Royal Taj. Every time I come here, I have a five star experience. Excellent food and decor, plus outstanding service. Are you celebrating anything? Have a drink on the house! Here's my glass of (really good) red wine, complimentary with my take-out order. Because what's not to celebrate about getting yummy Indian takeout on a Wed night ?“
“I was working in the area and Tandoor Spice was 1.5 miles from my last stop. I discovered it by other good reviews so tried ordering on my phone so I could pick it up. When it came to submit there was a little spinning circle and it continued until I arrived in the parking lot. I went inside and the nice gentleman apologized, checked the system and when he couldn’t see the order hung up in the system, he took my order right away. I ordered Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. For the inconvenience he threw in a complimentary dessert. Got to the hotel and had a very good meal. More than I could eat in one sitting. Medium spice was perfect for me.“
“This place is so great!! I had the lunch buffet today and tried dal makhani, vegetable and paneer (some sauce, korma?), vegetable makhani, fish malabar (curry), channa masala, and something else also great. All were really perfectly spiced, so flavorful.AND there were several more dishes that I didn't even have space to try! And dessert and samosas.Vegetarian options: 2 separate veggie curries on the buffet plus channa masala and dal.“
“Absolutely AMAZING dinner experience!!!! We enjoyed the food so much and the drinks and desserts are superb (: The service was very amicable and quick!! We had so many different meals and on average as a group of five spent about $25 each. I love the Rose Falooda and the Desi Chai was so fresh and warm. Definitely come eat here, the restaurant is new and deserves to treat many more customers!!!Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly for sure, there is a kids menu!Wheelchair accessibility: Wide aisles, can easily pull up to a table“
“After a flight from Mexico, we needed some desi food, and this place was Amazing. Very close to the airport, and offers variety of food! The owner Babul is from Bangladesh and offered us many different food, we felt like home! The taste is delicious i have to say. Parking was available, and free tea For EVERYONE! Nothing can beat that experience after a long journey with another long drive ahead.Made our day, thank you Babul vai and Kabob and Curry, will be back.“
“I come here once every two three months and honestly each time I visit or Takeout, I have not ordered anything except Mali Kofta and Palak Paneer which I absolutely love it. Every now and then I order Sizzling Chicken Tikka Kabab for the appetizer; I love how it comes, they are sizzling, but somehow it taste so bland even when you order extra spicy. Something is missing in ingredients and they are bit hard as well. Service and Staff are Fantastic!!“
“I wouldn’t have known this hidden gem was here if not for Google. They sell fresh produce and packaged items in the grocery store, they have a cute seating area in the back, and they sell some of the most delicious, flavorful food I’ve bought from a restaurant in a while. The owner was so nice as well. I got the chicken corn soup, chicken roast with polao (yum!), I don’t know what type of samosas these were. Check them out!Dietary restrictions: Halal. Vegetarian options available.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp accessible“
“Good food here. We come here often for Momo (Nepalese dumplings) and Goat Bhutan. It is outstanding! I also like their Nepalese style curry. Feels like home cooked meal. Garlic naan is just perfect. Atmosphere could be a little better, but we come here just for the food.“
“I just ordered food through Uber. I have food allergies and when I called them he was so great about it. It was awesome customer service. Now food OMGGGGGGGGG best Pakistani food no joke. I am picky as hell when I say their food is amazing. It was amazing. Can’t wait to try this place in person!!!! Thank you for awesome food. Perfect way to open fast!!! Chana was the best finally really Pakistani Chana dish!!! ❤️?❤️“
“We had a delicious meal of Aloo Paratha which was fresh off the grill and so good dipped in the sauce. We also really enjoyed the Lamb Kathi roll which was a little spicy for the kids but I thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely return for yummy authentic Indian food.“
“This is my favorite place to relax catch up work and have a really really great meal. This is easily the most complete Indian/Nepali buffet I have been to. All my favorite items alway fully stocked including freaking brewed chai tea and soup of the day. The service is excellent and everyone there is extremely welcoming a kind.Vegetarian options: Dhal, Paneer and Chana are my favorites“
“We got the thali...overall food was flavorful....good price point...but the chicken in the butter chicken and Tikka chicken (I think) was hard and tasteless. It was white meat and maybe needed a bit more marinating. We liked the rest of all the items?“
“Got the Chicken Korma plate with naan and rice. Delicious. The nan was the some of the best I've had - buttery and super fresh. The chicken korma was nice and spicy, had great flavor being bone-in. The rice was perfectly seasoned (not too salty) and had a perfect texture. Nice fellow at the front to boot!“
“I went to the buffet. Indian cuisine isn't one of my favorite cuisines, but I did enjoy this buffet. It was clean, food tasted fresh and seasoned very well. My stand outs was the butter chicken and the vegetable fried rice. Plus, the mango yogurt drink I had was refreshing. Definitely will go back.“
“I came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The service and ambiance were great. The food was quite delicious and this place offered decent portions. My friends and I ordered the Roasted Cauliflower, Corn & Crab Soup and Avocado & Roasted Corn Salad to start. Both were good but I would definitely return for the soup. We also ordered Lamb Chops, Halibut and Beef Short Rib; all were delicious. We also got a naan and garlic naan, which were both great but I wish we had larger portions. We got a slice of chocolate cake for desert, as part of the birthday treat from the restaurant. The drinks were great, and the bartender makes really good cocktails. They have a nice, small bar area where you can sit in and enjoy drinks before or after dinner. They also have an extensive wine selection. All in all, between the three of us we spent ~$275 on dinner, including my friend and I getting two drinks each. It’s a little on the higher end and I didn’t like the automatic 20% gratuity but the food was great.I would definitely return. I’m looking forward to enjoying the outside patio area in the summer time.Parking: Parking is readily available outside the restaurant. The lot is pretty bit.“
“I loved going here for lunch. Was greeting with a smile. Buffet looked great! But I opted out for the menu...I had the chicken Tikka and daal makhni w/ onion kulcha. Very flavourful and authentic!I was pleased with the atmosphere and it wasn't crowed nor loud.Plenty of parking:)I'll be back to taste other items plus dessert!“
“This is an outstanding place to get authentic Indian food from this family owned small business. The butter chicken was amazing!! Be sure to ask for the lemon/mint drink, it’s so refreshing! All of this at an affordable price. Don’t miss out!!“
“I was in the area looking for something to munch on. Preferably, appetizers.I got the cheese naan bread and chicken pakora. The Naan was nice, tasty, and warm. An Indian rendition of grilled cheese is what I tell the kids. The chicken pakora was a little dry, but it tasted really good. And I really liked the mint and chutney dipping sauces. The decor was phenomenal. Music soothing. And, it felt extremely calm and welcoming.I look forward to coming back to try a meal. I love me some curry.“
“We had lunch buffet, one time, and they look at all the time, fuck is wonderful. Restaurant is under new ownership and ownerships are warm and hospitality is wonderful.I highly recommended trying the salmon and spinach chat.Lunch buffet is stocked with multiple fragrant, vegetarian, and non-vegetarian dishes.“
“I had not dined at House of India for a long time and decided to have dinner here while I was in the neighborhood last night, a Saturday. Dinner was wonderful -- vegetable samosas (spicy but not too much!), chicken tikka, roti. Wine by the glass did not seem over-priced compared to trend I've been seeing at other places, and it was a generous quantity that lasted through the meal. Restaurant interior is nicely decorated and feels very cozy at the same time, though they look ready to handle a crowd. I'm glad that they have avoided putting up any large TV screens, which can spoil dining out rather than provide a distraction, in my opinion.“
“Great food and one of our favorite date night spots. The meat and vegetable delight meals are always perfectly spiced and delicious (come with multiple courses). Highly recommend dining in, we always leave with easy to reheat leftovers. Parking is not hard to find. Take out also seems popular and I'm not surprised.“
“I ma often in town for business, and always looking for a good curry. Found this place online, and was delighted. The waiter game me some recommendations, which i didn't opt for, and instead went with some of my more traditional choices - tandoori chicken wings, lamb Rogan jhosh. Both superb! Good sized portions, and took some home for lunch. Good service, very friendly. Will be going back!“
“Hi Mirchi Work restaurant team, Food is good, but feel there should be more change to the menu items, for customers who wish to visit again. Coz I visited the place like 2 times. For - 25$, I feel the buffet spread can be even more spread. can add biryani to the buffet. if no biryani then, add something to replace its place :-)“
“The food was really good, the paneer butter masala was amazing. The host was kind and showed me to my table and refilled my table’s water multiple times during my time there. The mango lassi also had quite an exquisite taste and was delicious. I definitely recommend this to anyone who loves Indian food as the restaurant makes the food to fit your taste as I don’t really eat spicy food. Keep up the great work!“
“Conveniently located only 10 minutes from BWI Airport. Small place but lots of choices. We ordered 2 personal pies... a saag paneer (mild) and a chicken Tikka masala (medium spice). They were quite generous portions-- leftovers welcome! Delicious both of them. Good service with a smile. In nice weather there is one table for 4 outside; inside is tiny so takeout is a better option. Reasonably priced. I would go back when in the area.Vegetarian options: It's Indian... so very vegetarian friendly.“
“I had a great time here!! I got the mango Lassi, chicken Tikka tacos, veggie samosas, chicken noodle soup, and I got curry chicken with mustard seed. I was not a fan of the mustard seed in the curry, and the veggie samosas were pretty salty. My dad got the shrimp vindaloo and he raves about it. Other than that everything was delicious! The flavor is absolutely there! The food comes out piping hot, and the staff was very nice, and attentive. I'd say go during the middle/early afternoon of the day if you can. Also, the take away foil and paper containers aren't the strongest, so be aware of that. Overall, a great place to dine!Parking: There is a free parking lot behind the building. There is parking across the "street" in a garage. Also, if you are lucky, there is street parking. Not sure if it is paid parking or not.“
“Amazing place, amazing service, although busy food came out still very quick and very fresh. All the employee’s work very hard for great customer satisfaction. Place very clean with food and items needed delivered very quick when asked for. Treated all customers with respect and always with a smiling face. Overall amazing experience!“
“What a gem. Hidden in an offbeat shopping center. Delicious food is a mild way of putting it. Vegetable Samosas, Butter Chicken pizza, yes really, Eggplant Parmigiano. Can't rave enough about the deliciousness of it all. The woman at the counter was too fun for words. Bummed I don't live in the area!“
“The food here is pretty good, depending on what you get. We've ordered take-out several times. The nihari last time was not good at all. Super oily, meat was terrible quality and it tasted like crap. As a nihari lover, I was greatly disappointed. But their beef bihari kababs are amazing!! Sooo yummy! We also love their biryani and karahi. We have had issues a couple times with getting the wrong dish. But they are very willing to acknowledge and rectify any issues. That's why we keep coming back. They seem to care about their customers and have always made up for any issues we experienced. For example, one of the dishes I ordered last time was the mild Daal Makhani (for a toddler) and instead, we got spicy Chana Masala. I called them and the person I spoke to quickly apologized for the error and gave us credit for a free daal makhani next time. Also, to make up for the terrible nihari we got last time, they gave us a free chicken entree. That's amazing customer service in my opinion!“
“This place is great! Highly recommended trying it out and specifically trying their Indian food. Wanted to order take out and saw that they had Indian options, didn't have high expectations but man was I surprised. Good authentic Indian food to rival any stand alone Indian restaurant. My only complaint is that I wasn't a huge fan of their Naan. Have a feeling they use the pizza dough and I thought it came out too doughy. All in all this place is great, will be back for sure!“
“We celebrated here with family for my wife’s birthday. From the first step into the restaurant everyone was welcoming, right on top of getting us situated and more than happy to ensure we were comfortable. We had our three kiddos with us so finding a good spot so that we could relax was super nice of the team.“
