I have been delighted by quality of the steaks and crabs at Johann's. The place is impressively clean, considering how busy their weekend dinner hour can be, especially during nice weather. I see a few others have leveled ad hominum charges of, "racism," at Johann's....which is totally unfair and absurd. I take these nenulous assertions to mean, "management will not put up with unruly criminal behavior of any type, at any time. I never read previous reviews and glad I didn't. I had a great experience! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the bar staff. When I sat down I was immediately approached by Chef Lorenzo who introduced himself and complimented my white dress and told me there was a $2 crab special and that he had fresh crabs. I love crabs and that price made me love them even more. Before ordering he offered me a new apron to wear while I ate so I wouldn't mess up my dress. Erin the bartender...read full review
The food was good prices were average it's a small bar with tables I scattered around it the food actually was really good I got the three two one seafood which was three pieces of fish two soft crabs and one giant crab cake plus two sides I don't know if it was pricey at $30 but depends on the person I would have normally gave it five stars but the fact that it's low lighting can be difficult to see for some and irritating for others so hope this helps
