While the service and atmosphere is indeed nice, food was a big let down. Drinks (cocktails) and appetizers (yum yum shrimps and spinach-artichoke dip) were fine though. We ordered new york strip steak and fish and chips. Both were a big let down. Fish was too salty and thin straps didn't justify the price. Steak was full of gristle and the chewy part made eating bit of the steak impossible.
So, many of you know me as true to the word: if I don't like my experience, I just don't write. If I love the experience, i am all praise. Today, I all praise! Service! Wings! Beer! Win! I am often in the Maryland area, especially Gaithersburg. Stumbled upon Brews and Barrels in the Kentlands! Thank you, Lawd! We go to Brews and Barrels regularly and love it! The food is excellent. They have the best ribs and tacos in Mont. County. And their staff has the best customer service I've seen anywhere. Companies should do case studies on Brews and Barrels on how to train staff!! Will, who is often our server is awesome!!!
