“Mumbai street food-- good place for lovers of a nice spicy brunch/ breakfast. Not a lot of meat offerings but some chicken dishes; they also have what looks to be a pretty decent whisky bar though too early for us. We had some rolls --egg coated tortillas stuffed with paneer masala, a couple of bombay grill sanwiches and bhajis.“
“Going to Woodlands restaurant is like visiting your friend's place. The staff is cordial, and service is prompt. I have tried almost everything on the menu and enjoyed it all. Once you visit Woodlands restaurant, you will become their regular customer.“
“A really delicious Tamil Nadu lunchtime! Excellent spicy butter chicken using tandoori chicken. Crispy dosa with delicious masala and sambhar. Idlis were a bit crumbly so maybe not the freshest. Ok okra. Sweet mango lassi. Friendly and attentive staff. We'll be back!“
“This is the best Pakistani food I’ve had in the DMV. The butter chicken is phenomenal as well as the chicken biryani. The Kashmiri chai is so delicious. And of course, the beef seekh kabob rumali roll is sooooo delicious I always wish there was more left when I finish it. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy at night and their buffet looks amazing. I hope more people find this place, they deserve more ratings! I can’t wait to come for iftar InshAllah.“
“UPDATE: I have had the food twice (tasted 4 dishes, 2 vegetarian, 2 of them the daily special) since the initial review. Food was excellent, plentiful and good value for the money. It would be a 5 star review, except for the many two portion\person dishes. While the aim is family style dining, is this the local clientele near Flower Hill?ORIGINAL REVIEW:Disappointed\ing without even the food. Went in and asked for the butter paneer special = one portion, not the standard two person dish) which is in the menu photographed under the Google maps menu button.Cashier said it was a mistake but he could do vege sides platter as no other vegeetarian special today Saturday). I asked could he do a one person butter paneer but was refused. I was surprised at the [short sighted] lack of flexibility, especially in a restaurant's first days. I cancelled the other meated dish and left.Very few vegetarian options (most are only on specific days). The two person dish requirement also excludes people living\dining alone from full menu choice or where two patrons don't want the same dish.“
“How ever in India the chaats are famous same like fresh juices also quit famous . most popular healthy drink found on the streets of India are fresh juice shops, where locals and tourists alike can enjoy a refreshing and healthy drink made from a variety of fruits like orange , water melon , pineapple , grapes , pomegranates and etc . Today i visit this restaurant for late lunch with my friends I found something new on their menu “fresh real juice” I gave a try for orange , strawberry milk shake . I really loved it . Back to my India memories . I surprised to see how they can manage fresh squeezed juice in moderate price. Keep it up and sure I Gona do my visit again only for juice.“
“I love indian food! Today, I decided to try Spicelife and learned that the owner is the same as Commonwealth (one of my favorites). So, needless to say, the food was just as good (or better) without the higher cost. In addition, they give you a lot of food. The space is large, clean and staff very friendly. I will definitely be “
“East or west punjabis are the best ? ? ? ☺️ ? ? ? ? ☺️ This is like the perfect punjab village food I have ever ate...don't go with the look at the place cause this restaurant is old...but really good food...food heaven.“
“Haven’t been here in years but it did not disappoint. Went with my stepdad who doesn’t like Indian food but after one dinner he was converted for life. Try one of the Indian beers they’re pretty great. Also cannot recommend the pani poori enough very light and refreshing. And can’t have an Indian dinner without gulab jamun and kesari kheer!“
“Best food we ever had in a restaurant after a while. We had Pongal special banana leaf lunch , we are looking forward to visit next banana leaf lunch. “THIS. PLACE. IS. AWESOME!! My wife and I wanted to try RT for sometime and we came in on a quiet night. AP was our waiter and he is PHENOMENAL! He went above and beyond for our first experience and he made it very memorable. He was honest with his thoughts on some items we were looking to order. We ordered the Chicken 65, Royal butter chicken, garlic and Peshawari naans and Mango lassis. The star dish of the night is the sharabi tawa combo! ORDER IT! It's an experience dish and very delicious! All dishes come in generous portions and the chefs know what they are doing! AP also made us feel at home and really cared for. The whole team was great as well. Overall 11/10 stars. Best Indian cuisine in the area by far! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!“
