“Only 5 mins walk from our home but we always skipped this place because of the past reviews. Today we decided to give it a try and we all agreed the pho is better than at other pho places we normally go to. We’ll be coming here more often now.“
“You would surely miss this place if you weren't looking for a pho place or this place specifically; it's next to the big fire station and to the side of the gas station. No frills family-owned pho. They got a very basic menu but you'll find pho and some staple viet rice dishes. Add some beer and wine to your purchase, if you fancy. We ordered cha gio and two pho's (one for me and one for my kiddos). The pho broth came out piping hot (thank you) and the meats were tender; I wish they would've put more meat than what me and the kiddos got. Their pho is one-size only. Place was a bit dark but clean. The son was very friendly and saw that my kiddos had accidentally dropped their utensils and didn't get mad/annoyed, but rather smiled and quickly brought out another one.“
“Surprised my family had never tried this place - it's been around for a long time, but I guess we usually went to the now-closed Pacifica Cafe around the corner or Yoyogi and Ming's is tucked in a side street. It's open for takeout later than a lot of the Chinese restaurants nearby, and while the ambiance isn't fancy, the taste is good for homey style cooking. We've done pickup mostly and the manager (maybe the owner?) is always super friendly - I ask her for recommendations on the menu based on what I've liked before when I pickup, and the last rec was the seaweed infused fish fillets, which have def been a hit in our family. Supposedly their Chinese roast meats are really good too, but my family's pescatarian so that's a bit of a harder sell. It also seems like the dishes we've liked more are the less Americanese ones, so keep it in mind when you're ordering. But definitely excited to eat through the menu, even after bypassing this place for at least 10+ years. Would recommend!“
“I read a lot of reviews about this place and as far as the food I ordered the egg rolls and pho, the food was very very flavorful and the presentation was really nice. As far as it being dirty, it didn’t look dirty it just had fingerprints all on the windows, but the food I had was really good.“
“This place was great. The service was good, the food came out fast and was really good. The only thing was that the noodles got soggy really fast. The banh mi was good. It was big and filled pretty well too. Overall a very good pho place and will probably come again sometime.“
“This used to be my weekly Sunday pho spot back when I lived in MD. Even though I now live in DC, I still come back for their cold cut sandwiches and lemonade. The banh mi number 1 is delicious. Their pho and bo kho are also tasty. Service is always friendly and fast.“
“This place is delicious and has wonderful service. I got the oxtail pho and my daughter got the fried rice with a strawberry nutella crepe for dessert. The broth on my pho was some of the best ever. The basil and bean sprouts were some of the freshest I have seen at a pho spot. This place is wonderful - you can get great pho, crepes, and teas all in one spot. The staff were super friendly.“
“Pho-nomenal service and flavors await you at this restaurant! The staff here is dedicated to ensuring that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. The pho served is a true culinary delight, with a delicate balance of spices and tender beef that will transport you to pho paradise. With such remarkable offerings, it's no surprise this place has earned its well-deserved 5-star rating!“
“The pho is tasty and the ingredients are fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, I had takeout because I was in a rush, but I returned a week later and it was just as good in house as my take out experience. Great food, you just have to try it.“
“I love the food, tasted authentic. Place is clean, service is fast, owner is friendly. I wished the pho is served piping hot though. The presence of 2 robots added bonus point. At one time, 1 of them said that she can't be late for work, she could get fired, when the 2 robots were in a traffic jam near kitchen entrance. Their names are Rice and Noodle.“
