“The staff at this location was good, but the quality of the food was a problem. I ordered 2 salads and the lettuce on the salads was old and the spring mix and spinach were wilted. We had to pick a lot of it out. The meat however was flavorfully and tasty. The 2 side orders were tasty as well. As far as atmosphere, the floors were sticky and needed a good cleaning. The glass partition also needed to be cleaned. Overall, a little cleaning and attention to the food would have changed the whole experience.”

“My daughter has her 5th birthday tomorrow and we forgot to get the cake until AFTER this location was already closed at 6pm. We called at 6:22pm and after telling them the situation they told us yes we could come and grab an already prepared cake! This was TOP TIER customer service. I'm so grateful for what they did for my little girls special day! THANK YOUUUU!”

“The whole wings were delicious, love the sauce! Fries could have been crispier but were the right amount of salty for me. The sweet potato fries were not crispy to me, I had to throw some in the oven (hence why half the box is empty) but once they were crispy, they were delicious. I'd give it a 7/10 for my first time”

“I had a beautiful lunch with my father who I didn’t see over 5 years . Never the less their services wasn’t focus in the job they served food with pepper to my father who can’t have it because his medical conditions . The food wasn’t bad but it had not the full touch of Japanese food. I didn’t understand why I couldn’t pay with card .”

“I must say I turned my head many times before I gave in and tried the food. Not because it didn't look good or smell good but because it was fish! I do not care too much for fish but when I tried the fried fish here boy did I change my mind. The food is fresh, fried to perfection and my favorite thing is the food stays the same. Everytime I order the fish I know exactly what I am going to get. Don't forget to try the hush puppies they are the best around imo. We tried the crab fries last time and they where great. We will be back to try the crab baked potato soon. The location is nice and clean. We did online ordering which went smoothly. The staff is friendly and smiling something you don't see too often anymore. Keep up the great job!”

“This location has a drive through available. I usually use it and it moves quickly and tge staff are friendly. Today I went inside. The atmosphere and vibe was great. The staff and manager that assisted me was very friendly. They had many people which made food preparation and the service quick. As I waited. For my order, I even noticed that they had various sized tables to accommodate different groups of people. There were people both teleworking, studying, sitting having casual talk and even I noticed a chess club meetup. They also had an outside seating area and patio which was really a cool space. The only gripe and reduction is that the store could have use some cleaning. There was visible trash on the floor and tables/chairs were everywhere in the outdoor seating area. I suggest the staff do a spot check every hour or so just to keep the store clean and in order. Store location is in a shopping center and a standalone Starbucks. It is surrounded by trees changing from the season and a bit secluded iwhich makes for a great retreat if going for a reprieve. I ordered a Double Smoked Bacon and Cheddar Sandwich (to-go) and Iced Americano (my favorite). I also ordered a medicine ball tea. During this season, it is a must. The citrus and mint flavors is a great, relaxing, green tea concoction that kicks the beginning of any cold. Highly recommend! This is my first visit here and I can say the experience was really good. Definitely would come back when in this area.”

“All the mixed reviews are crazy lol. Been going here for a couple months now. We just get the veggie egg roll, pork egg roll, veggie rice, and general tso chicken with pork fried rice combo. 10/10 every time. It’s delicious. Their homemade sweet tea is FIRE!”

“I actually skip the Smoothie King closest to my job to go to this one. The customer service is superb. Super friendly and fast. I have a great experience every time I go. My order has never been wrong and the açaí bowls you receive, actually look like the picture advertised. Tayron usually does my orders and he never misses. This is my go to store.”

“Really delicious and awesome vibe! This is a creative Asian place where I would say noodles are their forte. The area is really small and cozy, with great decor. They only seat about 20 people at a time in their space, so I would reserve or come early. We came as they opened and were seated as a party of 5.For food, LOVE the brontosaurus! The broth is excellent and rich but too too rich, nicely smoked ribs, excellent selection of side veggies and the noodles had a great texture. The noodles in the mazemans were the same noodles as the brontosaurus, but the mazeman has no broth and so I prefer the brontosaurus. The ribs in the brontosaurus could’ve been more tender but I still loved it overall! Pork buns were good as well. Beautiful presentation and great taste on all! And nice edgy underground atmosphere/decor and reasonable prices.Vegetarian options: Mushroom ramen”

“food was very inventive and good, but it was lacking on actual depth of any type of flavor. The service was quite good though we had to wait five minutes to actually be seated because the there was only one person seating people. The interior is very confusing and crowded and the restaurant decor doesn’t really make sense, the fried chicken was very good and unique so was the scallion pancake however, the pho really didn’t have any flavor and they were using chicken stock for some reason so it didn’t really have much flavor.”

“It can get very busy and crowded so be sure to make reservations! With that being said, although it was very crowded the service was 10/10. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. This was a unique dining experience and the small plates are brilliant idea. I recommend ordering a bit of everything during the first round and try something outside of your comfort zone. Everything I tried was delicious but the standouts to me were the spreads, grilled hanger steak, bacon and grits, salmon Benedict, the mini burger, and the sudzuk flatbread.”

From 1st picture my welcome cocktail all the way to final cocktail and wine in between 2nd picture to 1st course caviar bigger purse with no silverware 3rd picture to 2nd to last course truffle ice cream with all the toppings, including caviar My words don’t do this dining event Justice. Oh, and when I got back to the hotel, I found an incredible burger in a box that I carried back to the hotel without opening. That was breakfast! Will be back.”

“5 out of 5 stars, this three story restaurant is interestingly unnoticeable but I’m glad I was invited here to experience it. It sits next to an open air lot which is definitely needed on H St. The food was amazing, I had the sea bass, plantains, salad, and cassava fries (can’t remember what they were called) and everything was so good. The staff was efficient and friendly and the chef came out to speak with us and it amazing to see that he’s native DC and young he is. I definitely recommend this place for dinner. I wish I paused to take pictures but maybe next time.”

“Nice cozy place with delicious fold. I had the chicken heart appetizer and the Northern Noodles as main course. My wife had the Crispy Chicken. The noodles were probably the most flavorful curry Ive had in a long time, I just wish there was a tiny bit more noodles and protein, but it was great either way. “Next time you're over in Eastern Market check this place out!!! Lovely happy hours and brunches! For happy hours, I had tortilla de patatas, jamon serrano, gambas al ajillo... all were delicious and fresh! The gambas had some extra charred garlic that I enjoyed putting on bread with some of the delicious olive oil that was in the dish. The brunch was stunning and was a great addition to our day at Eastern Market! Some highlights were house made ravioli that were to die for, white sangria, croquetas... It's right around the corner from the main strip of Eastern Market on Penn Ave. so a bit hidden but worth a try!”

We enjoyed the inasal, tocino, and ube latte (complete with delicate latte art) courtesy of Sun and Stars Coffee. Our kid was thrilled she could enjoy an ube steamer, too-- and didn't want to stir her drink because she found the art (Hiraya's logo in this instance) so beautiful. I always opt for the vegan version of the beef noodles, which are consistently flavorful and delicious. The bartenders are not only friendly but also knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations. I appreciate that they maintain an accessible archive of past menus, allowing guests to order from a wide range of drink options. Despite its small size and the place sometimes getting crowded, outdoor seating and an extra bar on the back patio provide additional space.”

I almost never write reviews, but this place was so incredible that I had to this time.We went on a Friday night and did the 7-course tasting menu and drink pairing at the chef's counter. I'm sure it's not part of the experience every time, but it actually turned into about a 9-course tasting because they served some extras not on the menu that they were excited to share. Every aspect was incredible.Starting off, before we even arrived, with personalized contact from Brian to ensure that they knew everything from our names, if it was special occasion, dietary restrictions, etc. It was clear they wanted to make sure it was a special experience for us before we even stepped foot in the restaurant.On arrival the environment was incredible and the whole staff was friendly and consistently went out of their way to make the evening memorable.The food was, of course, incredible. But even more enjoyable was the detailed explanation of both the food we were being served and the wine choices for pairing. We learned a lot about how they prepared the food, where the ingredients were locally sourced from, etc. Not only was it informative, but their true passion for the quality of what they were serving really shined through.Just as top notch as the food, the service was incredible. They were true professionals that knew exactly how to strike the balance between being highly attentive without interfering with our date. The pacing of the servings was absolutely spot on. “I was contemplating between 4 and 5 stars here. I wish yelp had 'half stars.' Take out: I've ordered take out from here twice and have been very pleased with my experience both times. I had the pad see ew and spicy eggplant. Both were very good. Dine in: I came in for lunch yesterday and had a good experience. I ordered a Thai tea and pad Thai noodles. The Thai tea was delicious and the pad Thai was also very good. The pad Thai did taste slightly burnt but not so much so that i didn't enjoy the dish. Pad Thai 4/5 Thai tea: 5/5 Ambiance: clean. Service: good. It wasn't busy so there's one FOH person. He handled front desk, serving and to go orders just fine. He checked on me throughout my time there. Menu: they do NOT have a lunch menu. I read from previous yelpers that they ordered off the lunch menu, but unfortunately they don't have a lunch menu anymore. Other: i came in to eat and work, but right now they do not have WiFi. I was able to use my hotspot just fine. I will be back to try other menu items as i have enjoyed everything I've eaten so far.”

“The food here was incredible! The sambusas were so crispy. The lentil was my favorite. We also got the derek tibs and the veggie combo platter. It was delicious we somehow finished the entire plate.
