“While driving by recently I noticed that the old building has been torn down and a new building has gone up in its place. At first I wasn't sure whether the new building would be a Burger King restaurant, but I drove by on another day and the Burger King signs were in 3 places on the building so, yes, Burger King will be coming back, just not quite yet.“
“Always friendly. Great burgers, delicious fries. On the healthier side for fast food with fresh ingredients and organic beef. They treat customers kindly and serve great food.Also, you hear about great deals if you sign up for their email. I've popped in for Fry-day or Cheeseburger day.Parking: Parking behind the restaurant, on street and in separate lot near railroad. “My friends and I ordered checkers from DoorDash and DoorDash didn’t do absolutely nothing for them screwing up our order but we called checkers. We had to leave about 25 calls, but they finally answered and was able to fulfill our order for free with free add-ons.10/10!!!“
“I will always love Wendy's. On my poor weeks, will eat the 4 for $4. On my pay weeks, I will treat myself to one if the meals on the menu. The Carolina Classic is the most favorite one of them all. Who would've thought that Cole Slaw would taste good on a burger with chili also and mustard.The prices are not too expensive as well.“
“I use to work at the location back in 2010. Really dope environment and a good go-to place for a meal or some dessert on the go. The restaurant has been renovated and I feel it was necessary. Awesome place to be around, no complaints from me!“
“Get the crabs. They're amazing.Ours came still steaming, and they give you all the tools you need to get into them enjoy them, we got the half dozen regular and with a salad and coleslaw they were a wonderful lunch. The boiling spice is salty and spicy and so good. And being from a Chinese background having apple cider vinegar on the table was a treat. Dipping the meat in the vinegar was how we used to eat blue crabs when I was a kid.“
“Overall food was decent. Fries with chili and cheese were above average and milkshakes were excellent. Where it failed was the burgers. Probably one of the most average hamburgers I have ever had and I find it comparable to McDonald's. I didn't have it I was told their half smoke was delightful.I am giving it a 3 as it is apparently well-known but was fairly average in my perspective.I'm updating this to 4 stars because after our meal 90 year old owner, Virginia, took time to talk to us and tell us all about her and the restaurants history that is rich and pivotal in the black community of the area. Amazing conversation with her and if you can you should visit with her!“
“Had the opportunity to experience this dining venue for a Sunday brunch,recommended by family member. The brunch menu at first was a little confusing as to what our quantity of options we were entitled to, once that was clarified enjoyed a delightful meal of fried chicken & waffles -brussel sprouts-deviled eggs -berry mixed topping pancakes -crab cakes and a mimosa. The only thing that wasn’t too pleasant was the waiter assigned to us -he didn’t seem very customer friendly-I don’t even think he introduced himself. However his slack was taken up by a wonderful young lady by the name of Allie -very friendly -took the time to explain the menu -when an ordering mistake had been made -corrected it and provided a alternative, she made the experience so much better -excellent customer service“
“5 Guys is a great choice for burgers because they are delicious and usually in a convenient location. Went there for dinner and was in a rush but my food came out so quick! Everything was fresh and delicious. The cashier was also very pleasant. They have plenty of seating inside and some seating outside. This location is attached to MPG so parking can be a little tough but nothing too unbearable. I didn't get fries this time but I'm a huge fan of their fries and they always give you so many! If you want a quick and easy burger this is the place to go!“
