Another local Dominican gem! Friendly service and amazing food. A great lunch option. The lady at the counter explained what goes with what and helped us put our orders together. Generous potions! Everything has a real home cooked feel. Mashed plantain (mofongo) with onion, beef stew, some type of sliced sausage (I forget the name), brown rice with beans, eggplant in a tomato gravy, creamy white beans as a side, etc. All delicious!! Flavorful food, great customer service. Quiet, cozy feel inside. They give you a lot of food on one plate. They didn't have fried plantains, which would have when perfect with the savory rice and steak.

It’s rare finding a Dominican or Puerto Rican restaurant. But boy it hit the spot. The arroz con gandules was on point. The spaghetti was perfect. This is going to be my new regular spot.
