“Are you in Landover, the desert of Latino food, and craving street tacos? Well, this is the only place. While a bit greasy, they hit the spot. They are generously portioned and just looked at the radish and peppers and lime they come with! Glad these guys exist here!“
“I can only tell what I have seen in this place. I haven't eaten here yet. I only come here for business. But I can tell you from what I see the place is crowded and when I look around the place everybody is smiling while they're eating and that indicates they are enjoyi g the food.“
“This place is great, it has many options and the food is very delicious. I tried the quesabirra this time and I think I prefer they regular tacos instead. Specially their Al pastor and carnita tacos which are very flavorful! But overall their quesabirra was still delicious. The staff is friendly and the environment is very welcoming. I recommend trying this place out and coming back to try multiple things on their menu, because they have a lot of delicious options. Overall I highly recommend.“
“We enjoy going out. Last night we found this excellent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We enjoyed a lovely evening there with excellent cooking and a courteous team and a talented cuisine. We put this place in our list and we will definitely come back soon. We highly recommend.“
“I've come here several times. The food is fantastic! Very large portions and quite delicious. They have a wide variety of Mexican dishes made with love like my mother would in her kitchen. The staff are very friendly. They take real pride knowing that you're a satisfied customer and they have served a delicious meal. I'd recommend anyone in the area to stop by and get a bite to eat.I have come here several times. The food is fantastic! Very large portions and quite delicious. “3-tacos and rice (rice): I liked that they gave a good amount of everything and that the food was not greasy. It was made to perfection! The food HIT…they gave a great amount for what I ordered. It wasn't too greasy… Everything was on point. Fast and great service.. will definitely return :)“
“Really yummy though we had to wait about 20 min for food (but worth it)! I had the chilaquiles with red sauce and chicken. Hubby had the tacos. And of course, had to get some sweet horchata. Definitely would visit again if I’m in this area.“
“Food has always been good. However I notice that they have cut back on the amount. Now maybe due to Covid you are given less food and the cost has increased somewhat!Food is still good but you are not getting as much for the cost or the increase being charge! My only complaint“
“I found this place on Google Maps, like I find most places to dine when traveling. It's a Hole-In-The-Wall, but what a lovely hole it is! You can't get better Mexican Food in the DC m area if you ask me. It seems that most of their business is carry-out, and rightly so. The dining area is almost non-existent, but don't let that fool you. I had one of their Burrito's (saved it for lunch the next day) because after enjoying the rest of my meal, I couldn't come close to eating that. If I was going to be here longer, I'd be coming back and exploring more of their menu. Their staff is very friendly and take good care of you if you wait for your meal like I did. If you're in this area, this is a must visit place. I'd almost guarantee you that you'll end up being a repeat customer.“
“This place is amazing. I don't know if I should call it a hidden gem because it's very busy Friday through Sunday. Food has always been great. I've been going for the last 6 years and the service and flavor is just as good as the first visit.“
“Overall a solid 7.5/10Customer service is always bad here but the food makes up for it, I've been coming here for years and it's always bad service which it's a good sign of good food, the Micheladas are pretty good for $10, the meal was roughly 15$ so not bad for 25$ + tip. Theres a shopping center right Infront so there is plenty of parking when it's slow but during peak hour it gets hard to find parking. The salsa chips were pretty stale but okVegetarian options: Pretty sure you can ask for no meatParking: Plenty of parking when not busy“
“Kind of a hidden gem at least when it comes to the torta I tried my first visit there. After walking in, it looks like a small cafeteria.Despite being literally located next door to the more popularly known La Placita and having to order my carryout through quite a narrow opening between their food prep counter and register in a corner, the breaded chicken torta for $6.31 is not only the best price but also best value. It's just as good as La Placita's $7 version but also with more chicken meat. Right amount of fresh toppings and little more generous on the cheese than the average torta in the neighborhood. Although a few parts of the chicken was very slightly tough, it wasn't dry and I only needed to bite very slightly harder than usual. At least I didn't have to grip it hard to try ripping the chicken off like I had to with few other restaurants' tortas. On my second visit, thought I try a couple tacos besides ordering the breaded chicken torta again. Although the parking lot in the front was full, I followed another car entering on the right to find out they have more parking spaces behind the building. Surprisingly it looks even bigger than La Placita's parking lot. From there, I realized you can take the stairs in the back to head straight to the order window to rather than walking around to the front. As I peeped through the window before and after placing my order, I watched in awe ladies rolling out tortilla dough. I ended up ordering breaded chicken torta along with carnitas and cecina tacos. I felt like I had foodgasm just from feeling the tortilla's texture given that it's warm and housemade while chewing away the tacos.Somehow for the torta they put in 2 cutlets this time but they were thinner which pretty much matches the portion like the last time. I was blown away even more because this time the cutlets had no tough spots at all and were crunchier.Blender fresh cantaloupe juice for $3 seems reasonable for their so-called large cup although it looks equivalent to medium elsewhere. The con may be that you'll have to speak Spanish with the staff. You can always use the Google translate app though off your phone.“
“The best authentic and delicious tacos I have experienced and to date I have not found a place with similar quality. I have been eating here for years visiting at least once a week. Sadly I moved and only enjoy this delicious food the few times I am in town. If you are craving tacos you will not be disappointed. As a bonus there is a Mexican bakery and Latina tire right besides. Only con is the place is small but the delicious food still makes up for it and worth it.?“
“Yo boy, when I crave seafood soup ? the atmosphere is very delicious there, there are a lot of drunks who shout and so it's not good if you have children they get scared and the customer service is more or less because they only have 2 waitresses serving and that's how they don't come Serve later but the food is very “
“I have been eating in that place for fourteen years, although I do not do it every day, but it is a good place to eat, the food is very good, the service is excellent, the parking lot is very spacious, a very clean place, there is only one small problem that there is never anything in the bathroom dry your hands otherwise I recommend it to eat alone with friends or family“
“Have not been here since 2017. Nothing has changed which is a good thing. Service is fast. I ordered three carnitas tacos. Plenty of meat in dual corn soft tacos. The green sauce is tasty , the red is hot. Plenty of choices for drinks. The tacos were delicious, three is enough though I could have eaten four! If want the real deal authentic tacos this is the place. Two drinks and seven tacos was $32, yes the price sadly is the only thing that has changed.“
