“I had the pleasure of experiencing Talia'z Cuzina for the first time when they catered our Christmas lunch at the office, and it was a delightful culinary adventure. Every item on their menu was a true delight, but the braised beef brisket stole the show for me with its incredible flavors and tenderness. I was so impressed that I couldn't resist bringing some home, and to my delight, even my husband, who is quite the food critic, fell in love with their dishes. We ended up visiting their restaurant to pick up more to enjoy at home. Talia'z Cuzina is a definite must-try for anyone craving delicious and satisfying meals that leave a lasting impression”
“I've been to this place two times now, and it is definitely a spot that I would recommend. So, why 4 stars... because I don't eat pork or beef, and this limits what I can try. I o wish they had more veggie options. However, everything I tried from this place has been really good. I was surprised at how good their Kimchi Pancakes (KP) are - usually, KP at restaurants are forgettable, and these were anything but.The Tofu Bao Buns are great. The shrimp burger is REALLY good. The fish tacos were ok, I wish there was more kimchi on them. They also make their own kimchi! It's a really nice and quaint spot that I'm going to make sure I tell other about.Vegetarian options: I wish they had more vegetarian options. I believe there are probably 3-5 vegetarian dishes. However, they may accommodate removing meat & eggs from their Bi Bim Bap.”
“Mbak Artha n Mas Wirawan are very kind, put all their love and hard work into their restaurant. Above the restaurant there is a meeting place enough for 50 people if I'm not mistaken, the rental price is quite affordable and the interior is very well decorated.”
“This place is an 8.5 or 9 out of 10 but it's better than the sun of its parts. We ordered a good selection of food and it was all good. The ambiance was good, chill, the service was prompt and attentive. Presentation was immaculate. The fish was really spectacular and tasted great. Soft, beautifully sliced, and no sticky slimy to be felt. Can especially recommend the white Flint roll, very creative blend of flavors and textures. The only complaint is that the nigiri construction could be better. It was too little rice to the point where the fish to rice ratio felt skewed and the necessary support under the fish was not present. There was also no adhesion of fish to rice, leading to the nigiri falling apart often. Maybe a small dab of wasabi or slightly stickier rice will remedy the problem. Still a great sushi restaurant and worth a visit.”
“Very authentic, homemade taste. Aside from the namesake, also try the lecheflan. It's easily the best in the region. Unfortunately its popularity means seating is quite limited.Update: it's getting quite pricey and the menu has shrunk. My favorite dish there, crispy pasta, is no longer available, among other items.”
“Very bright, warm, friendly location. Drink offerings are varied and refreshing. The staff are always responsive and even offers firepit in the winter. Definitely has grown exponentially since their initial opening. Great local brewery. Parking has been a battle as far as access, but the location is very cute and welcoming.”
“Always a wonderful atmosphere ... the pan-fried rockfish didn't turn out great this time for one of us... The rest of the dishes and the appetizers were really good... The cocktails were amazing and the service was very attentive and ”
“Tacos are amazing. I especially love the squash blossom tacos. My husband loves the Al Pastor. We've been driving to their food truck in Glenmont for years. So glad they are now in Kensington.”
“Food is on point i would recommend gyro with the orange sauce on the side , seasoned fries , niko fries the rest i havent tried but they are really good . service isnt much the latin young female that works there is extremely rude nasty and unprofessional the rest were good , atmosphere is calm ,there are a few number of sits and chairs facing the street for a view , the manager is extremely welcoming hard working and an awesome person”
“The pizza and garlic bread was frkn amazing and exceeded my expectations. Definitely stood out from other pizza places I've been to recently and I'm not from the area but the food and service is worth the drive back for sure.”
“Good value and food was very good. Spring roll was a little soft but otherwise the food was excellent. A full plate of food for about 10 bucks. Yum yum. Quick lunch place,if you can find a spot in the lot at lunch. That center has a few lunch spots when im in Kensington, and parking can be sparse.”
“I came here to the new location to see what’s up with it after Rockville relocated. I was NOT disappointed. First of all, the pizza was amazing (pretty much like EVERY single CEC, lol! The staff was super nice. Since the robots are destroyed, all the old art trashed, and the place looking way more minimalistic and modern, I rated the atmosphere a 3. Everything other than that was perfect. I’d definitely go again if I was in the area.Vegetarian options: I mean, they have a salad bar? Cheese pizza, stuff like that. I guess you could come here if your vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Ehhh, food is super greasy. They got some good salad though.Parking: Parking is just huge.Kid-friendliness: Literally a place made for children. “Where a kid can be a kid!””
“Great service, small town vibes. Amazing steak and cheese as far as maryland steak and cheese go. Fries were perfect. Can only inside, online order for easy in or carry out you can use credit.”
“Good quality food for a good price I've came here many times it's always the same quality as last time if your looking for good quality food come here!”
“Pesto Pizza - Ahh, can't get beyond it. A perfect basilly flavor, just right cheese, enough crunchy pine nuts to enhance the flavor. And with the best ginger soda in the area. The red pizzas are great too, but the pesto is the best of its kind. A well curated, short list of beers and hand made sodas. I plan events in Kensington to Fankly's limited hours.Parking: Parking is very limited in front of Frankly and on the street. Follow signs to public parking.”
