“GOB makes the best cakes - hands down! I typically do not like icing, but Nicole makes the best icing. It isn't too sweet and perfectly balances her cakes. On top of that, her designs are beautiful. I will never get a cake from anyone else.”
“We just moved over here into the new Kaiser Admin building and have ordered from Metro Cafe about 4 times in 3wks. We have always received our order exactly as placed, with no mix-ups.The prices are reasonable and the food is delivered with a smile. No complaints. Keep up the good work; we will keep coming back.”
“To be fair...I only stop here for their fries and funnel cake fries...both are the best!! I've always gone through the drive thru..could possibly be a lil faster...but honestly no ”
“Great lunch specials ($10) hard to find these days to include a beverage as well ( bottle of water ). who cares it’s a deal from every angle. Kinda out the way for us Virginians but well worth the travel. The flavors are true to the Caribbean as what I know of Tropicana. The food portion was on point as well. The service is rated low cause I think it’s a solo dolo operator so it was a bit of a what for the food. However, again it was worth the wait!!! Get you some if in the area and you like authentic Caribbean food! Spices on point. Oh and they got security on lock”
“This place is exceptional. I am a regular visitor for special occasions and every time the food impresses and I am left happy and satisfied. The service is awesome and the atmosphere outdoor is beautiful even in the cold weather.”
“The food was amazing!! I couldn’t believe how tasty it was. My friend is vegetarian so it was so cool she had options. We got dumpings regular and vegan and the red miso and mushroom ramen. There is also cool option to reward staff with beer! We had to do it! (˘ ▽ ˘) っ ♨(ˆڡˆ)”
“Very friendly staff. Early happy hour which is a big plus. I got the fried chicken sandwich with fries and it was quite good. The chicken was tender and fried perfectly. The hot cherry pepper sauce and slaw went great on top. The fries were seasoned with a dusting of old bay, I assume. I got the Hawaiian Punch which is essentially a mocktail and it was SO good. Not too sweet. Finished it off with the apple pie which is, as you may guess, unconventional as it kind of looked like a cinnamon bun and was caramelized very well. I would recommend eating here. It is a laid back atmosphere. Jeans and a t-shirt are appropriate as well as business attire.”
“Scallops on cauliflower rice(?) was delicious and seared to perfection. Loved the breads and really enjoyed dipping some in the jambalaya inspired paella dish.Happy hour gets crowded and the deal was restricted to the bar area. But we were happy to have a sit-down meal to enjoy a couple of dishes after some oysters.”
“Had dinner before the Oh He Dead concert on Saturday December 17, 2022. We arrived a little before our seating and immediately were greeted and taken to our spots. Ian was outstanding! He was attentive, descriptive and helped create a good experience. Dan, our bartender, was magnificent. He created delectable cocktails and we also chatted along the way (we had bar seats which I highly recommend). This was very reasonably priced, we left very filled and happy. I want to give the highest possible compliments to Ian and Dan. The entire experience was perfect, largely because of the great food, but they took the experience well beyond a 1 star evening!”
“Pretty incredible place, the tasting menu was a really great option to go for. Every plate that came out was really delicious and definitely left feeling satisfied with the food and service. There is a hint of over gentrification but you overlook that once you start eating. Really immersive experience and defiantly would go back there when I’m in DC”
“Food was great, and service was good. We sat in the dining room this time. Next time will seat in the bar lounge area. Menu prices are reasonable and you bring in bottles not on list for $35 corkage fee.”
“Fantastic experience here. The bartender EJ was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate. The food was seriously good, chicken tikka tacos were so good that I ordered a full order of the chicken tikka to go!”
“Food was all delicious and inventive! Crispy chicken wings and spicy cauliflower were my favourite. I’m not quite sure the small/medium/big plates translate all that accurately though, so do be wary of overordering. The service also could have been a bit faster at times but for a relaxed Friday night dinner it’s not a huge problem. Friendly service and fun atmosphere makes up for it.”
“From start to finish my meal was delicious! Very attentive to allergies and making appropriate recommendations. The grilled oysters are a delight! Loved the two drinks I had. The loaded potato with the aged ribeye was perfection. The crepes are light and airy and the caramel sauce adds the right amount of sweetness. I visited the speakeasy before leaving and it was such a vibe. I plan to come again to try other dishes and drinks on both menus!”
“It was fabulous! I loved how much thought went into the meal and the whole place showed the care and love behind the creations. The food and service were spectacular!”

The dishes served at the restaurant are incredibly delicious, and the drinks are equally impressive. Whether you're looking to share a meal with friends or to grab a drink after work, Doi Moi is the perfect spot.”
“Came for their Valentine's Day menu and WOW! They had such a unique and thoughtful menu. Started with a complementary drink. The total course number was seven. Started with a delicious scallop tartare followed by a delicious lobster croquette. The star dish was definitely the personal hot pot with waygu beef. It was cool to get to cook the food at our table. There was also a round of sushi and round of nigiri which featured fresh delicious picks from the chef! To end there was a banana chocolate crepe which was perfectly sweet and had a decadent chocolate dipping sauce. This was a great meal. Definitely pricey but is worth it! Come here for your next big occasion for a treat!”
“First I would like to say that I wish there were more than 5 stars. My son and I are visiting the DC area for the Cherry Blossom festivities. My son has a love for Indian food ever since his trip to India. I have never tried Indian food ever. So this was my very first experience. From the moment we walked in the door our amazing experience began. The atmosphere is beautiful and so is the staff. Our server, April was super helpful and very knowledgeable. She has an amazing spirit and is wonderful with her job! The food... was very fresh, aromatic and DELICIOUS!! My son said the food was the closest to the food in India that he has had here in the states. For my first time... OMG!!! I am HOOKED! The only bad part is that I have to go back to Florida and wait impatiently for my next visit.”
“This is the first restaurant in the US that I was 100% satisfied with. All three types of draft beer were delicious, and although I wasn't able to take a picture of the steak, the quality of the food was great. Highly recommended.”
“Three stars for atmosphere = I like it. We sat outside since we didn't have a reservation. It was dimly lit, nice warm evening, so it was pleasant. The seating was just strange since we were seated right next to a group of loud chatters when there were plenty of seats available. Overall, no big issues.Food was good. I liked the eclectic menu. Decent selection and you can get something from any region of the world. Had kachapuri, birria tacos, argentine asado, and spice bag fried chicken. The kachapuri was rich and beautifully presented. Our waiter stirred and mixed the egg and cheese tableside so it was a sensual viewing for our tastebuds. The asado came out first and alone. Chorizo was well cooked, not greasy at all. Was very tasty. The spice bag fried chicken was good. Lots of fried bits. Kind of cute presentation. I liked that!Birria tacos were not my choice, and not my favorite. Brisket was tender and juicy but lacking spice.”
“Amazing service, food, presentation, libations, decor, comfort, on and on. From 1st picture my welcome cocktail all the way to final cocktail and wine in between 2nd picture to 1st course caviar bigger purse with no silverware 3rd picture to 2nd to last course truffle ice cream with all the toppings, including caviar My words don’t do this dining event Justice. Oh, and when I got back to the hotel, I found an incredible burger in a box that I carried back to the hotel without opening. That was breakfast! Will be back.”
“This spot was incredible for Sunday brunch with friends! We had the almond croissant as a table app - delicious. Try it. Then we all got the crepes which were amazing. Good service and lovely ambience.”
“So delicious! Perfect friendly service. Our family of four shared the meat and veggie special for an excellent value even after a long day walking around seeing the sights. Unassuming spot; homey and welcoming.”
“Delicious food and fantastic service! I expected no less than this wonderful experience at a José Andrés restaurant. Since this restaurant serves small plates, this is a great place to try different items and explore Mexican and Mexican-inspired cuisine! There is even grasshopper tacos. Tortilla chips and salsa is free here. Make sure to book a reservation, otherwise the only available seats are the countertop ones.”
“I mean, wow. Just wow. The experience here was unrivaled from any sushi place I’ve ever been to. From the very beginning, I had let them know that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and they had a special card printed for us to wish us a happy anniversary and a thank you for spending it with them. The waiter who took care of us was extremely knowledgeable about all of the pieces we were being given, and all of the items had just the most amazing taste of any nigiri that we’ve ever had. The wine list is over forty pages long! Everything about this place is fine tuned for a beautiful and amazing experience, and if you’re looking for an elegant and tasty night out, this is the choice that you should make.”
“Oyster Oyster offers a delightful culinary journey celebrating sustainability and creativity. The menu, focusing on plant-based cuisine, presents a diverse array of dishes showcasing seasonal ingredients. Each plate is thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented. The service is attentive and knowledgeable.”
“This is my favorite breakfast spot I've ever been to and I've been eating. A long time .. I've even gotten non breakfast food at the same time and was highly impressed. Their smoked meats are amazing and the whiskey tango foxtrot wrap changed my life with the habenero ”
