I use to love coming to this spot, especially when my parents are visiting from the Caribbean, but the prices sky rocketed while the portions are less. Got a patte today, wasn’t even what I asked for and half of it was just dough…please think about quality if you’re going to increase your prices. If I’m going to pay near $5 for a patte, it should be the one I paid for and loaded with meat.
Disappointing change in flavor! I used to adore Caribe Express at their Laurel location, but the shift to their new Jessup spot seems to have altered the taste and quality of their food. Sadly, the flavors I once loved are no longer consistent. However, amidst this change, I must commend their beef patties; they've remained consistently fresh, hot, and delicious. My sister and I went tonight to try the location on Main Street in laurel MD. We got the curry goat, with rice and peas, veggies and plantain. As well as the oxtail, with rice and peas, veggies and plantain. The portion amount was pretty nice over all. Both bowls were $21 each but it was absolutely amazing! The service was very welcoming as well! I will definitely be back for more !
