“Good food and establishment in general. My only complaint is that one of the items i ordered had a strong after taste of detergent (Torta Milanesa) so i didnt eat it completely. Tacos and orchata were some of the best I've tried in Maryland. I will come back again to see for sure if is the natural taste of the meal.”

“MJ’s Café is a small, cozy restaurant near the intersection of Highways 27 and 30 in Manchester Maryland. The food on the menu is all home-cooked comfort food and is delicious. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs and we never had to wait for anything we needed. This is a great place to grab a delicious and expensive bite to eat.”

“I love how this hidden gem is tucked away off of main st. The staff is always friendly and personable. I’ve been going for 5-6 years and I enjoy my time I’ve spent there. “This was our first time here, and we were thoroughly impressed.We were greeted at the door by a smell of cleaning product which makes you feel good about how well a place is kept up. The interior was trendy and well lit. The place was very clean and organized.The server was tremendous. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful when it came to choosing our entrees.The food was the show stopper. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and well crafted on the plate. “(Mcsherrystown location) First time and won't be the last. Ordered an iced caramel coffee with their breakfast sandwich. The coffee was the best I have had locally. My partner ordered a hot late and also said it was delicious. The sandwich included scrambled egg, bacon, cheese, and Chick-fil-A sauce. Umm, can you say genius? So tasty! Service was pretty quick even with a constant flow of customers. Ambiance had a play area for kids and people catching up over coffee. Hopefully more quiet during the week if you want to work remotely. Everyone seemed to be having a great time!”

“My husband and I came here for a lunch date. I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich and my husband had the orvacado tartine. Both sandwiches were great. We also ordered a butter horn and a sweet scone with a pack of the chocolate batons. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back! I think the owner was walking around and talking to everyone as well which I really like and appreciate. Next time I come in I will ask for the stickers to take on my travels.”

“Maison Greene is a little gem of a place on Route 30 in Hampstead just outside of the small town. We met for a meeting which included an wonderful breakfast croissant and spiced chai tea. They have entertainment and wine tastings. Good staff and service and I finally met the owner: Lisa Gardner!!!”

“During Lent Season, we frequent Big Mike's Crabhouse on a Friday, typically late afternoon. We try to beat the crowd, as this restaurant is not that big, but the seafood is absolutely delicious! Service is always excellent!!!! Big Mike's is a very relaxed atmosphere! They are a BYOB, so you can bring your favorite adult beverages if you choose to do so!!! If you choose to have an entree, but do not wish to have the sides, they will adjust the price! I love their cod fish (2 pieces), but don't always want the French fries, etc., they will serve you just the fish and adjust your bill accordingly. The pound of shrimp is always cooked to perfection, we have our shrimp served with melted butter and cocktail sauce, so delicious!!! If you're in Hanover and love seafood, stop by!!!!”

The first time I actually “liked” coffee was while in Sweden 20 yrs ago… Being in town for work and errands and seeing “Fika” was a sign for me to swing in for a cup and a bite. Swedish cardamom bun is not a cinnamon bun, but uniquely as delicious in its own right. Over the years I’ve come to love and appreciate the differences of color and tastes and styles across the globe of God’s art palette. Everything here was fresh, and garnished with care and excellence. Breakfast sandwich panini = gourmet… housemade focaccia bread adds just the right distinction for inherent local taste not easily replicated. Come out and try it!Ps.
