“Nice service on a Friday night with thoughtful décor. The background music was the perfect volume though the mood lighting was a bit low. Our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable & attentive. Our dishes came out quicker than expected, the portions were generous & everything was delicious. My party ordered pimento cheese hush puppies [the hush puppy batter could use a little (more?) salt as they were moist but bland], shrimp 'n' grits, 22 oz bone-in smoked beef short rib, mac 'n' cheese & Nana's Banana pudding (I sampled this dessert & it was excellent).I ordered the always yummy fried chicken & waffles (this time, however, I received 3 legs & 1 thigh & would've preferred 2 of each as the menu states) but really don't understand the tiny sprinkling of Manchego cheese. Why add something to the description that comes barely there & you can't even taste? Honestly, it's pointless for the customer.I was excited to try the seasonal cobbler (apple ginger) a la mode which was supposed to come with vanilla whipped cream but sadly did not. The biscuit was a bit gummy & the presentation for this dessert needs improvement, as it was served in a ramekin & presented on a plain plate. ...Perhaps drizzle fruit compote on the serving dish? That being said, my complaints weren't worth bringing up to our server & altering the happy mood of my party. Overall we had a great time & I'd return.”
“the food is fast. that’s a given.tasted pretty good and was made as we ordered.the young lady from venezuela was very nice and helpful.she was on the ball making sure everyone got their orders in a timely manner and checking in on everyone to make sure we were all good.def give her a raise!the decor is old school cool and works well for Tanger.will def return.”
“Aridelle is such a great person. Everyone would love her. She kind, respectful and very sweet. She's the best worker I've seen there. And she never fails to impress”
“Panda Tea House in National Harbor, MD, proved to be a convenient choice during my recent business trip. Their exceptional customer service, close proximity to our hotel, and delicious beverages made it a standout choice. The anime-themed decor added a unique touch, creating a fun atmosphere. While prices were slightly higher, the overall experience was worthwhile. However, during my visit, they faced inventory shortages, which was a minor downside. If you're in the area, Panda Tea House is a great option for a refreshing drink near your hotel, but be prepared for occasional inventory challenges.”
“When indecisive, go for the chefs table which includes all of the apps but also an extra tasting per course. Aside from the food which was near perfect, the ambiance is very unique outside dining in a semi enclosed courtyard, railyard bar, and dining in a lodge-like room with fireplace. Some of my favorite dishes were the veggies, surprising because I'm more of a meat eater. Cocktails were excellent but do ask the bartender since not all liquor is documented. Wine list is extensive”
“The food was amazing!! I couldn’t believe how tasty it was. My friend is vegetarian so it was so cool she had options. We got dumpings regular and vegan and the red miso and mushroom ramen. There is also cool option to reward staff with beer! We had to do it! (˘ ▽ ˘) っ ♨(ˆڡˆ)”
“I stumbled upon Tail Up Goat while wandering the streets, and what a delightful discovery it turned out to be. Walking in for dinner at the bar, I was immediately impressed by the flawless service. The staff struck a perfect balance between professional hospitality and genuine human connection, making my dining experience truly enjoyable.Unlike some other restaurants where servers bombard you with uppity culinary jargon and $2 words they learned in a staff meeting, Tail Up Goat provided a refreshingly authentic experience. The food overall was excellent, with only one minor hiccup. The pork tenderloin, while flavorful, was a tad dry, possibly sliced too soon. However, even my "least favorite" dish was still enjoyable.Unfortunately, my experience was slightly marred by a small issue. I was offered a glass of bubbles, which I assumed was complimentary but was later charged for. It left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, figuratively speaking, but thankfully didn't completely sour my overall experience. It's entirely possible it was just a misunderstanding on my part that I should have clarified.Despite this minor blip, I would still highly recommend Tail Up Goat for its warm atmosphere, impeccable service, and delicious food. It's definitely worth a visit.”
“Visited Compass Rose in DC and indulged in their Tour of the World brunch menu. It was an exquisite culinary journey featuring flavors from around the globe. Every dish was simply delicious! The staff were exceptionally welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for a delightful dining adventure!"”
“Unconventional Diner my go-to brunch spot in DC! The blueberry mascarpone pancake was a delightful burst of flavor, and the grits were creamy perfection. Can't forget the French deep poutine, a savory indulgence that always hit the spot. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a unique and satisfying brunch experience!”
“Scallops on cauliflower rice(?) was delicious and seared to perfection. Loved the breads and really enjoyed dipping some in the jambalaya inspired paella dish.Happy hour gets crowded and the deal was restricted to the bar area. But we were happy to have a sit-down meal to enjoy a couple of dishes after some oysters.”
“Had dinner before the Oh He Dead concert on Saturday December 17, 2022. We arrived a little before our seating and immediately were greeted and taken to our spots. Ian was outstanding! He was attentive, descriptive and helped create a good experience. Dan, our bartender, was magnificent. He created delectable cocktails and we also chatted along the way (we had bar seats which I highly recommend). This was very reasonably priced, we left very filled and happy. I want to give the highest possible compliments to Ian and Dan. The entire experience was perfect, largely because of the great food, but they took the experience well beyond a 1 star evening!”
“Great ambiance and service in this Michelin star restaurant with food to match. We got the tasting menu to try a bunch of dishes and overall thought the food was still similar to Mediterranean/Middle-Eastern food I’ve had before but with a unique twist on the vegetable dishes. My favorites were the cauliflower hash (reminded me a lot of Gujarati shaak that I ate growing up) and the halloumi + muhmmara dips. Unfortunately, I thought all the cocktails were very mid, so I wouldn’t recommend drinks there unless it’s something you already know.”
“Food was great, and service was good. We sat in the dining room this time. Next time will seat in the bar lounge area. Menu prices are reasonable and you bring in bottles not on list for $35 corkage fee.”
“Fantastic experience here. The bartender EJ was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate. The food was seriously good, chicken tikka tacos were so good that I ordered a full order of the chicken tikka to go!”
“From start to finish my meal was delicious! Very attentive to allergies and making appropriate recommendations. The grilled oysters are a delight! Loved the two drinks I had. The loaded potato with the aged ribeye was perfection. The crepes are light and airy and the caramel sauce adds the right amount of sweetness. I visited the speakeasy before leaving and it was such a vibe. I plan to come again to try other dishes and drinks on both menus!”
“food was very inventive and good, but it was lacking on actual depth of any type of flavor. The service was quite good though we had to wait five minutes to actually be seated because the there was only one person seating people. The interior is very confusing and crowded and the restaurant decor doesn’t really make sense, the fried chicken was very good and unique so was the scallion pancake however, the pho really didn’t have any flavor and they were using chicken stock for some reason so it didn’t really have much flavor.”
“The food was fantastic! The service was fantasticOverall a fantastic experience. We had a awesome time dining with Rose's the staff was very nice and very accommodating to our dietary restrictions. We also received various items that we off the menu that were excellent. And they gave us a treat to take home. I would definitely recommend Roses, P&P, and Little Pearl. Trust me, they won't let you down.”
“In a spot where the sushi's divine,Far from Japan, but tastes like its own shrine. The staff, with smiles, swiftly glide,Explaining each dish with knowledgeable pride.A saki selection that brilliantly does shine.Beyond seas, this place holds its fame,With flavors no connoisseur could blame. Here, fish tales are more than mere notions,Served with a flair that stirs deep emotions.A top-tier feast, in every aspect, it came.”
“It was fabulous! I loved how much thought went into the meal and the whole place showed the care and love behind the creations. The food and service were spectacular!”
“We loved this restaurant. The food was fantastic as well as the waitress from El Salvador, who was super kind. Price and overall experience was excellent! We will defórmele be back!”
“Friendly and knowledgeable staff, in a unique atmosphere. Residents has a chill vibe and a Menu that changes with the seasons. Love the small bites. Highly recommend the baby artichokes on the Summer menu! Visited in Summer and Fall of 2022… Residents never disappoints! Highly recommend.”

“This is the first restaurant in the US that I was 100% satisfied with. All three types of draft beer were delicious, and although I wasn't able to take a picture of the steak, the quality of the food was great. Highly recommended.”
“Amazing service, food, presentation, libations, decor, comfort, on and on. From 1st picture my welcome cocktail all the way to final cocktail and wine in between 2nd picture to 1st course caviar bigger purse with no silverware 3rd picture to 2nd to last course truffle ice cream with all the toppings, including caviar My words don’t do this dining event Justice. Oh, and when I got back to the hotel, I found an incredible burger in a box that I carried back to the hotel without opening. That was breakfast! Will be back.”
“My husband and I stopped in to visit Washington, DC as we were traveling back to Canada. Washington is beautiful. Decided we needed a little 'pick me up' and stopped into this restaurant with no other thought than inclination. What a joy this place is! I had the best Margarita I have ever tasted, and the staff were courteous, friendly, and moved with purpose. Watching the staff person prepare guacamole at the table in front of the bar was fun. He was exceptionally busy. This place is worth an intended stop next time you are in the Washington area. I know we will be back!!!”
“So delicious! Perfect friendly service. Our family of four shared the meat and veggie special for an excellent value even after a long day walking around seeing the sights. Unassuming spot; homey and welcoming.”
“I thought that for the price, the food and service were very good. I appreciated that they were able to accommodate a walk-in for weekend brunch. The hostess was very polite and the servers were very attentive. The restaurant was very clean, including the bathrooms which were very nice compared to a lot of restaurants in DC. For a restaurant I had not heard of prior to visiting, I was pleasantly surprised!”
“I mean, wow. Just wow. The experience here was unrivaled from any sushi place I’ve ever been to. From the very beginning, I had let them know that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and they had a special card printed for us to wish us a happy anniversary and a thank you for spending it with them. The waiter who took care of us was extremely knowledgeable about all of the pieces we were being given, and all of the items had just the most amazing taste of any nigiri that we’ve ever had. The wine list is over forty pages long! Everything about this place is fine tuned for a beautiful and amazing experience, and if you’re looking for an elegant and tasty night out, this is the choice that you should make.”
“The lobster roll was flavorful, but it felt quite small given the price. While I understand lobster is expensive, I expected a more substantial portion for the price paid. The restaurant was empty with no music playing, and the staff, while not rude, were not particularly friendly. They seemed preoccupied with their phones in the kitchen and did not acknowledge a "thank you" when said to them.”
