“Amazing coffee, amazing location, amazing people. I highly recommend this place to everyone. I also bought some coffee beans here and I've never had better at home coffee.”
“A solid 4.5, hope you’ll try them! The service (Amy) definitely has be coming back. I got 2 apps from here so for what it’s worth- the order got misunderstood over the phone so don’t be like me and ALWAYS CHECK your orders (from anywhere) before you leave on pick up. I was kinda rushing so didn’t and got bone in instead of boneless wings like asked. They were awesome about it and gave a gift card to come in and get my boneless order next time. I did yesterday and the chicken was quality. Not saucy, more dry rub (I got the Buffalo spicy) but I just know to ask for saucy next time that’s all! The pretzel bites tasted pretty processed like the ones you could get from the frozen section- and the cheese dip for them too. For the price, wasn’t really impressed there, but still edible. The friendliness and professionalism though was great. The bar is huge and the place in general has a nice space. Go try them!”
“I've only been to The Derby once with my wife while we were riding through New Market. The bar was small but the staff was very nice and attentive. We had a little snack and it was pretty good. We will be back to try it again.”
“Reserved for an adult birthday day in the basement with over 30 people, everyone had a blast. The food and drinks were great plus we got the dance floor warmed up.”
“The server was very friendly Andy courteous. I ordered the minestrone soup and the zucchini bread sticks everything was so yummy.Vegetarian options: Minestrone soup, garlic buns and zucchini bread sticks”
“2019-present Always love the service whenever I call in an order or stop in to have dinner or lunch. The fried oysters are so good majority of the stuff on the menu is so good. That is why I just keep coming back.”
“Truly a First class meal!Seafood pasta, half marinara sauce, half cream sauce.4 huge perfectly cooked scallops, countless tender shrimp and white fish, all combined to make this dish a WINNER!Dessert was lemon blueberry cake mmmm so good, not overly sweet. Our bartender was Stephanie who was so attentive and kind!A bit later, Danielle came on duty. Loved her right away. The owner of the restaurant fixed the crowd tastes of his home cooked foods.Just a wonderful meal, fun and very reasonable.WE WILL BE GOING BACK!!!OH! DID I MENTION THE PUMPKIN MARTINI!!!!!??”
“Great place for lunch! The food was very tasty--tried the Caesar wrap which came with Parmesan fries and the fish and chips which had a delicious batter. Everything is also very reasonably priced. Quick and friendly service in a cute atmosphere. Very much enjoyed!”
“Great Crab Cakes, delicious sides broccoli salad, sweet corn Salad n coleslaw. Makes for a wonderful dinner with only cooking the crab cakes in their foil containers .”
“The team they had working the drive through was fantastic. Great introduction at the order box, good interaction at the window, and the Fries were HOT and FRESH!”
“Listen:Order the Singapore Chow Mei Fun (House Style). The menu might call it "Singapore Rice Noodles." It's a thin-style rice noodle dish with meat and veggies. The portion is incredible. This dish has always been my comfort food.It wasn't until I ordered it from Asian Bistro that I remembered why: their ingredients were fresh and flavors distinct. This dish is my "takeout - comparison dish" and Asian Bistro takes the championship belt home.I also had the gyoza - and I swear it must be prepared by hand. If you order takeout over $35 you get some for free if you mention the coupon! (Exp 12/31/24).Next time I order, I will upload photos. I'm actually trying to not order here all the time now.”
“It McDonald's, you know what you can get here. Nicely located for that quick bathroom visit while on a road trip. This location was much cleaner than the ones near my home.”
“This place has always been pretty good. Except the last time i went there to try the new chicken wings. We got a dozen wings, and the chicken strip bucket meal. The wings came barely sauced, which is a shame since the wings themselves were pretty good. Absolutely could have used more sauce. They also said they were out of spicy chicken strips and offered to make more or get half and half regular to go with what strips they did have. What they didnt tell us was that the ones they did have were dry and felt more like jerky, than chicken strips. The mac and cheese was also room temperature, and needed a reheat in the microwave.Popeyes is lucky KFC is pricing themselves too high these days. Just get your act together, i want to like you guys! ?”
“Staff accidentally messed up my toppings, manager on the phone tonight, Tuesday January 10th, was extremely nice and caring and offered to send me a new pizza or get a credit, and I took the credit because I didn’t want somebody to drive back this way. Not often you here somebody with that level of customer service over the phone. I wish I got his name cause you need to give that guy a raise.”
“I stopped at this Dunkin' on 8 Feb 2024 at approximately 1:40 pm because I needed some pick-me-up fuel (coffee). Being from Las Vegas, Nevada, I'm not used to seeing both Dunkin' and Baskin Robbins combined under one roof, and honestly, that is just a wonderful sight. Some may wonder what the big deal is, but to me, I like Dunkin' and I love Baskin Robbins...and if you combine the two, it's just magical. My wife and I didn't order any food at this location because we weren't that hungry. But since I've eaten at Dunkin' so many times at various locations across the country, it's probably a safe bet to say that this location's food is adequate, if not, great. The customer service was good; there's nothing that really stood out, both positive and negative. Although, I will say that whoever prepared my coffee did an excellent job with it and was quick - yes, I have been to other locations to where they messed up my "simple" coffee with cream and sugar, and the employees moved like snails - this clearly wasn't the case at this location. The building's exterior and inside décor was a bit dated and could use a little freshening up here and there, and perhaps everywhere. I know based on the area, this building has that unique charm which some may identify it as being "cute." But for me, I like that clean, modern look (you can blame the fact that I live in a city where a lot of the buildings/structures look modern), therefore, I feel that this building could use some updating.Overall, I was satisfied with this visit. If you're currently in the area or planning to be in the area, and require some liquid fuel and/or food, then you need to visit this Dunkin'...definitely recommend.”
“Super delicious food. Friendly staff and great service. It is a bit pricey but definitely worth the price. The location seems like it's a hole in the wall place but the inside looks very nice. Well decorated setup inside.”
“Our work team visited Madrones for the first time this afternoon and we left impressed! Mike our server was on top of everything we asked, the food was prepared to order, the portion sizes were perfect, and the price tags on the menu fit the amount of food you received! We all agree that we will be back, and will recommend Madrones to friends and family when traveling to the Frederick area!”
“The BEST a authentic Italian food in Maryland - full stop. My Italian grandmother would eat here and be proud. Their handmade pasta texture is perfection. The carrot in their bolognese is the perfect mix of identifiable without being overbearing. The bureaus is texturally exceptional, and we order two orders of Arancini because my husband and I refuse to share them. RUN, Don’t walk… but save a table for me.”
“While there were not much left when we got here around 10 on a Saturday, ery thing we got was absolutely amazing. Our favorites were the mini blackberry and cream cheese croissants but also enjoyed the morning bun. Customer service was excellent and while we waited in line and despite the limited choices, it was well worth it and we will definitely be back.”
“May be the best pupusas in town. And may also be the best I've ever eaten. Simple, tasty and clean. Plenty of people cooking and serving. I had a rice flour "loca" and it was delicious! Highly recommended.”
“At Arepa Queen I get to eat the best and most fresh arepas I could ever try. The best in my opinion is the Pelua, but I still have so many more food to try from there.”
“My family and I stopped at Mission BBQ in Frederick, MD to grab something to eat after our son's dentist appt on March 13th. We traveled 2 hours for his appt so we figured we owed ourselves some good food before hitting the road back home. And good food we had! My fiance and I eat baby back ribs every chance we get and we love trying new places. We are so glad we chose to stop at Mission BBQ! When we entered the restaurant we were kind of thrown off because you go to the counter, order your food, get your drinks, find a place to sit, and then wait for your name to be called then go get your food. It was a little worrisome at first, our first thought was we order ribs at the counter, no server?! We ordered and then in no time our name was called and a crew member helped my fiance bring it all to our table and we dug in... let me tell you something. If anyone reading this review has the chance to stop at Mission BBQ at any location, do not pass it up! Hands down the best baby back ribs we have EVER had!!! Talk about fall of the bone, juicy, great taste, and decent size! Our son had the salmon filet which was also delicious. Every crew member we encountered was pleasant and knowledgeable. As we were eating a young lady named Anita came along and stopped to check if our food was okay and if we needed anything. She was such a delight! She gave us some background on the restaurant and their food. How the restaurant came to be and how it is a family restaurant. She told us about the pit boss and how he goes in at all hours, on his own time, to check on the meat so it is always up to the restaurant's standards. We talked about how hard it is to find workers who care about what their serving, especially in the food business. After our conversation, we were packing up leftovers and Anita came back to our table with cards for each of us for a free sandwich at any location! Anita was so nice and she made a great meal into a wonderful experience all together, everyone did!!! We have to go back to Frederick to our son's dentist on April 4th and we already have plans to stop in and eat at Mission BBQ!!! This was probably the best experience I have ever had at a restaurant! Props to all of you working at Mission BBQ in Frederick MD! Keep up the great work! It really does make a difference to some of us!!!”
“Food was fantastic. it was just so delicious but they don't have a lot of gluten-free options. So I ended up getting a Cobb salad and their candid bacon. Also we probably had every server come up to our table and ask us if we needed anything if you wanted to place an order if we need a refill so a little hard to say who served us and if they gave us excellent service because every time somebody came to the table it was somebody different but the food was good.”
“What a great meal with fantastic service at The Tasting Room in Frederick Maryland. We were gifted a very generous gift card to this restaurant. We had eaten here in the past, but had the opportunity to head back here. We used OpenTable and booked our reservation several weeks in advance. Mostly because of our schedule, but we’re excited to go back. Our server was Jessica and she was probably one of the best servers we have had in the past two years. Extremely knowledgeable about the wines, and very strong on the menu selections. Professional and attentive. If I could give her six stars, I would. For dinner we started with a Black Martini and a Lily Pad. Jessica explained the drink to us so we went with it and was not disappointed. With dinner we had a bottle of Inglenook Zinfandel. Delicious. For food we started with the Panko Shrimp and the charcuterie board. The cheese selection was very good and the elk sausage was tasty. For main courses we all had the filet. Great presentation with oval trivets and cast iron plates with each filet. Tender and cooked to perfection with a side of béarnaise sauce which was some of the best I have ever had. So so good! You also received as a side dish potatoes au gratin. Very good! We also ordered a side of Brussels sprouts for the table. For desserts Jessica recommended the “warm chocolate toffee Bundt cake”. It was so delicious. Could have eaten two! We also had the “lemon meringue parfait”. Light and tasty. We rounded out the meal with Peruvian Dark Roast Coffee. Outstanding. The restaurant is cozy and well decorated. Take the opportunity and look up at the beautiful ceilings that permeate throughout the restaurant. In addition, if you are seated next to a window look across the street at the “Angel” painting. So interesting.Overall, the meal and service were just outstanding. Yeah it is on the expensive side (but we had drinks, apps and dessert) but I will go back. It really was perfection and worth every penny.Parking: Parking is available across the street in a paid large parking garage. Several garages around.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is on first floor so no steps but aisles are tight between tables.”
“It was the review for me that caught my attention, that’s why it’s very important to rate restaurants on the customer service and the quality of food. Me and my daughter visited yesterday and the wings and fries were delicious, we also tried the Atlantis dog, which is the chili and cheese hotdog. I love the fact the our food was still hot especially our fries were boxed in a brown box container which I love because the fries were still hot and not soggy even when we got home our fries were still not soggy and I love that. You got to try the Old bay wings and Parmesan garlic wings. Thank You Kevin for your Hospitality as well asking us how we want our chicken to be cooked regular or crispy! Check them out Frederick location down Market Street”
“We absolutely love having Hoffman Brothers here in Frederick. Taharka Bros is our favorite ice cream and thanks so this place we can indulge in our faves as often as we’d like (and keep the freezer stocked)! If you haven’t tried their ice cream, the Honey Graham is a MUST. My personal favorite is Chocolate Love- chocolate ice cream with an Oreo swirl. As close to heaven as it gets! ?”
“The owner (or manager) was so delighted to see us and so helpful it was like we were regulars and it was our first time. The food was great bar food and the service was fast and accurate. It wasn't very crowded so the atmosphere was chill and not too loud but I don't know what it's like with a full house.”
“My sister and I are on a road trip from Florida to Cape May NJ…. We love eating at local places that come highly recommended. The Silver Diner did not disappoint! The Farm to Table menu is amazing with something for everyone! Our server, Michael S was knowledgeable and friendly and the night supervisor, Caitlynn, was great! Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The lemon hummus salad… to die for!!”
“We celebrated my son’s 17th birthday here and it did not disappoint! The staff were friendly and attentive - multiple people stopped by to fill our water throughout the evening. The decor was really nice with a variety of textures (wood, brick, fabrics, metal). The food was amazeballs. My son and I had the filet and my husband had the duck. And, because it was a celebration, we got 3 different desserts . The chocolate cake was so good, I dropped my fork. We will definitely be back!”
“Kendall is amazing! Yall are really lucky to have an employee so dedicated to his job. He gave me a ton of recommendations and he knew his stuff. I will definitely return to this amazing establishment!”
