I've been a loyal patron of Maki for years. It's my go-to spot for casual outings with family and friends. The staff is always friendly and efficient, providing speedy service. I consistently choose the vegan ramen option and vegan broth. Maki's food never fails to impress.
This is a small restaurant but people are served quickly and waits for tables are very short. The katsukare is fantastic. Real japanese curry flavor. The hot tea is also very delicious. We had no complaints about the ika geso, which was fantastic and a fantastic portion. The kaki furai was a little over cooked, and only four pieces, but still a very good flavor. It was our first time here, and we really enjoyed the food! We had the spicy miso based ramen with chicken katsu, the volcano base ramen with bulgogi, the chicken katsu curry rice and a Phoenix Special Roll. From the side salad & miso to the size & freshness of the roll (could've been spicier;)) and the simplicity of the soup bases and even the curry-- everything was delicious! Even my picky husband said it's some place he'd come back to;)
