I’ve been coming here for about 5 years. The restaurant is small but clean and the staff is always friendly.I always get the Chicharron con Arepa, Arepa Pabellon, or Arepa de Camaron. The arepas are always good and made fresh to order. This is not “fast food”, so if you are in a rush, I suggest placing an online order.If you are a fan of flan or tres leche cake, give it a try here. You can tell that they make the dessert in house. Great food and service! conveniently located in down town Silverspring within a couple blocks from most hotels, across the street from the mall and other shops.We ordered the Reina pepiada arepa, the pabellon arepa and the sureña arepa, they were all good.

I stayed in Colombia for 3 months and always ordered this meal: Pabellon Criollo. Very tasty and good portion. I should have added avocado on the side and that would have been perfect. I also ordered soursop fruit drink which was a nice treat. The service was friendly and attentive. I’d go there again to try their other items.
