The poppy seed bagel I got wasn't a bagel. Completely devoid of salt, not chewy on the inside at all, no springiness; none of the classic characteristics of what defines a bagel. This was simply mediocre bread in the shape of a bagel with a pitiful amount of poppy seeds sprinkled on it. Bagels are not bad at all, but I'm still open to other options for NY style bagels in the area. There is a good variety of spreads besides just cream cheese. Their iced coffee is great, though: strong and smooth, not too acidic, and not diluted even when iced.

The bagels themselves are some of the best in the DMV and it really should be about the bagels. It's meat free which is fine with me, but you should know it going in.Vegetarian options: It's an entirely meat free restaurant.
