I have heard so much about this place, I have seen the signs. I have been studying the menu so I made sure that I was going to make a stop today. Let me tell you- I was very impressed with the setup of the restaurant. After I placed my order, I beelined to the rest room. It was immaculate and smelled good. I ordered the oxtails, cabbage Mac and cheese and tow beef patties. I got home and I opened the order and I lost my mind. Ample tender oxtails deliciously seasoned cabbage and the Mac and cheese had cheese pull. Oh my gosh!!! And the beef patties!!??? I just want to thank the pleasant and calming demeanor of the staff and DAT JERK for the happy pat my feet did during this meal. I will be back and I will be bringing folks with me.

Today was my 1st time trying this island restaurant and have some mixed reviews. The entire restaurant was empty and the young man behind the counter had no life in him (advice is to great all who come in the establishment like they have never been there and you have the best food). I let them know that i never ate there and he could have used that moment to explain, recommend, or talk about any specials. I asked to sample the stew chicken and he said “we don’t do samples.(Here is benefits of offering a sample: of the food is good, they may order more, tell someone else about the product, etc ) I ordered the curry chicken with mac & cheese, Blanton and brown stew chicken with rice and peas and vegetables. The sample that I was asking for was on the brown to chicken because not everyone can cook brown stew. now that I have actually tasted the brown stew chicken after purchasing it, I wish I had a sample because it’s extremely salty. The curry chicken had great flavor instead of the mac & cheese. I’ve been like this one and at least when someone says you know, can I have a sample or try it, you should allow them to only help you in business considering they have catering services as well. I would not recommend Brown to chicken place may give this another try when I’m in the area I live in Virginia and this place is 45 minutes from my home for me to be the only client and the restaurant there should’ve been a better atmosphere of welcome to the establishment

1st visit, carried out. Very friendly service, really good food & nice portions. Clean restrooms with hot water always a plus! I would definitely stop there again when in Waldorf.
Came to check out this place on the way to my mom house. I am glad I did!! Erin was amazing, kind and informative for it being my first time. I was very satisfied w/ the food and please try the pina colada cake. ❤️

Well It was recommended by the Mrs. that we stop past here before we head down the road. We only sample the Beef Patties.. They were freshly made, extremely hot and seasoned tenderly! The young man made sure he got me in and out of the way quickly as line extend to the door. The music and environment was smooth and right on time with the song play list. I'll be back to check out other items on the menu! I do recommend this location! Check them out ..

I had a good experience and the food is always good. The curry chicken didn't fit my taste. I wish the rice came with the oxtails, not as a side. The oxtails have a great flavor but I didn't get enough in the portion 6 with meat and 3 bare bones. I always visit when I'm in town.
