We have enjoyed everything we have eaten from here. It definitely beats out some of the other soul food spots in the district. We had an event catered by them as well and everyone enjoyed everything. Not a single complaint. We didn’t have them make the max & cheese but I’ve had it and it’s great. I can’t wait to see how this place grows!

I saw this location on IG and decided to travel out to try the fish and chicken. It was delicious. But on my 2nd visit, prices went up and certain items weren’t available, 3rd visit, prices went up AGAIN and certain items weren’t available. I opted to wait for something else. Decided to order a drink with no ice and was told I’ll be charged extra for NO ICE. I’ve never heard of such idiocracy in my life! All my life I have room temp drinks but to charge me extra for not wanting ice! I immediately canceled and will never go back again and I tell ppl any chance I get. I can get good fish and chicken else where, that’s not as high and I’ll get more portions with better customer service.✌?✌?

2 crab cake platter, crab cakes were horrible. Not sure what they are using for filler, fish maybe. It was not all crab meat. Mac and cheese is always great. So disappointed I will make them myself.

So the location caught me completely by surprise but if I learned anything from Guy Fieri it's to never judge a restaurant by its location. My sister and I have been craving some good fried chicken for weeks. She found this place on TikTok and when I tell you they didn't disappoint. The food is made to order so all of our food was nice, hot and fresh. We got the Big Catch, Hen and Fin, and a 5 wing box. Mac and cheese was just like Nana's (like they said) and those green beans were kissed by god himself. Yes, it was a long drive to get there but next time I will just order more food for the ride home.

Food is cooked to order. There wasn't a long wait. Food was extra crispy and hot. The Mac & cheese was pretty good too. The only improvement is the customer service and there online menu does not match the in store menu.
On Thursday, September 30, 2021, we went to Hen&Fin I Waldorf, Md off Rt 228. It a nice clean spot in the corner. We order the Dinner fish, Whitting and chicken wings with collards and mac&cheese. Well it was really good. Nice portions. The customer services was great!! We'll be going back again.

This place is the truth!! I order the chicken box every time I visit and best believe the flavor is just as good as when I first tried it, I see why they say the batter matters! Not to mention their mac and cheese is literally the best mac and cheese I've ordered from any carryout. In my most recent visit I noticed they added family meals to their menu. Perfect opportunity for those looking to feed the fam some good ol southern cooking!

First visit. Food was plentiful. Fish and chicken dinner with two sides was priced fine. However my collard greens had grit in the chew and the mac and cheese had topped cheese but none in the mac and cheese. My bread was oil soaked from absorbing the oil in my box and fried food on top. I am going to visit again because I believe in supporting the small business owners too. However twice is my limit in doing it this way again. Service was good
