The first time I came was a much better experience. However, today I came and no one was there to greet me, so I waited a bit while the one girl finished her lunch and one texted. A guy came out to take my order and then the 2 girls came out from the back to make the orders because few other people walked in. I don’t know if the pressure was too much, but my açaí bowl was just a WATERY mess!!! They put WAY too much coconut milk and it just didn’t taste right at all.Edit: After speaking with the owner, I decided to give this business another shot. He made me feel like my experience really mattered to him and that’s RARE these days. I revisited yesterday and my açaí bowl was like the first one I had. ??

I hate to leave a negative review regarding this establishment and really tried to spare them another distasteful explanation as to why I’m done as well! Everytime I go they’re always out of something Orange juice, Coconut Milk, fruit, Honey etc….. a mean this is ridiculous ! I am a gym goer and look forward to coming here, they constantly ask for me to put an order through the kiosk but I won’t receive a gym discount doing it via machine so it defeats the purpose of asking when you see I’m in gym clothing! If inventory is out, at the very least there is a grocery store next door. I mean I saw a worker unloading milk around 12:30pm on a Saturday while customers are in line (absurd) Also the line is always stretched toward the door because there’s one person making 5 bowls for one person and no additional help. It’s a complete turn off! I end up leaving and going somewhere else (Smoothie King). This place has no order, I’ve met the manager before and seems to me he should do a RESET on this company because it could be great if things were more streamlined and efficient. Please do inventory more frequent and get more help and everyone up to speed.

Visiting from out of town and was excited to see a juice bar was close to the hotel. My mom and I walked in and all the fruit looked rotten, the greens were brown and slimy and the place looked unsanitary! I couldn't believe people were eating there! It was so bad Im probably going to call the health department.

The customer service by the young lady on 2/9/24 around 6 pm was amazing . She was by herself which I understand from a management perspective. She handled everything . There was no long wait . So the individual who had no patience should understand you didn’t walk in to a fast food restaurant. There’s a difference. She answered my questions. She greeted everyone who came in no matter what. This type of customer service is rare .

No very clean work space for them to work with your acai will taste frozen/ watery! The fruit blended in are not flavoring. I usually use juice to mix acai bowl but had to use milk I got the oat milk which didn’t give it anymore flavor at that but the fruit didn’t help bring that! They had slow down with the service because they kept losing the tickets with the orders!

Love the Açaí bowls from here. I haven’t been in a while but stopped through recently. The bowls are fresh and a good amount. This time it was a little bit too runny with the consistency but tasted good. Staff is always friendly. I loved using the self ordering machine. My açaí bowl was so pretty and made me enjoy it even more to eat.

I recently discovered Nips and visit at least 3 times a week. The food is amazing, my favorite is the Blue Moon Bowl. The service is amazing. The environment is extremely clean and welcoming I am surprised people don’t hang out more in the space.

Unfortunately, I hate to leave a bad review but it has been one too many times of the same experience. They never have everything on the menu in stock at the same time. If they have patties, there's no juice. If there's juice, there's no patties. It would be great to go, look at the menu, and order what is advertised. Just last week, I was told they wouldn't have patties for the day. It was 11:00 a.m! Orders take a long time. Staff doesn't speak. The owners are very nice, but there has been a tremendous decline over the last two years and something really needs to be done. This was the flagship location and this one should be the best location.I don't want to think it, but I doubt this is how the Silver Spring location is being run.
